Wonderful home, people, and amenities. Karen and Mick are very helpful, welcoming, and witty. They welcomed myself and my wife into their home, allowed us privacy, and made amenities such as (excellently maintained) hot tub, cold plunge, and sauna. The spa was amazing after long days of driving and activities. The breakfasts were unique, delicious, and locally curated. We had an amazing long weekend stay at The Featherbed Inn! We were there for a wedding up the street which was fantastic but the experience we received here really enhanced the weekend. The room we stayed in was spacious and charming. The breakfast was amazing! The Nordic spa was invigorating consisting of the sauna to cold plunge therapy which we were a little apprehensive about but ended up loving it. The real treasure to this Inn are its owners Mick and Karen. From the moment we arrived they were so welcoming, attentive, informative, and just a pleasure to be around. They were happy to share their knowledge of the region and engage with all the guests around breakfast, which they crafted each morning with real TLC. Highly recommend the Featherbed Inn and look forward to getting back there.

The inn was cozy and comfortable, and Mick and Karen were welcoming with wonderful recommendations for the nearby areas, and always around if we needed something. The location is just remote enough where it feels like a good getaway, but also close enough to places like Burlington so that a day trip could be done. The spa was an amazing experience throughout all parts of the day, and there are plenty of games in the inn and trails nearby so that you always have an opportunity to do something. We will definitely be going again soon, and are eagerly looking forward to Karen's three-course breakfast.

A truly incredible place with incredible people! The Featherbed Inn was the perfect spot to spend a long weekend for our first time in the Mad River Valley. Karen and Mick's hospitality is unmatched- they had so many great recommendations to fill our time and accommodated all our needs. The 3 course breakfast was delightful and the sauna, cold plunge, hot tub and of course, feather bed had us feeling fully relaxed and wishing we could stay longer. Thank you for the beautiful stay and can't wait to visit again!

We had the pleasure of visiting Vermont for the first time and being welcomed so warmly by Karen & Mick at the Featherbed Inn & Nordic Spa. They truly outmatch almost every experience we've had in terms of hospitality and friendliness - from immaculate rooms to a state of the art Nordic Spa experience (without all the crowds!) , we could not have wished for anything better for our weekend. Their location is so close to local amenities, and they have so many suggestions if you have questions about what you would like to do. Every morning is a new scone to start with, and they take the time to explain the dishes they've prepared to all guests. A 3-course breakfast never went unfinished, and sitting with some fresh juice and coffee while enjoying the morning really set us up every day. There is a bike/hiking trail located on the back of the property that is great for any nature lovers wanting to stretch their legs at any time of the day! At night, we took advantage of their Nordic Spa set-up; a lovely warming room that leads into the main heated area, with a separate cold plunge located just outside, all just steps from the side door. After sweating the day out and feeling reinvigorated, we sat by the ever-burning outdoor firepit on the patio and chatted with other guests. The Inn provides a great spot to relax, unwind, meet others if you like, and just all around have a fantastic time. We'd recommend this place to any and all, and without a doubt, we will be back! Mick & Karen provided welcoming and exceptional service. Taking caring of us without us actually seeing them do it. Tables were set and coffee ready first thing in the morning, a 3-course breakfast of locally sourced ingredients prepared timely to nourish us, never to over stuff. Overstating the value of the Swedish spa: Sauna & Cold Plunge, cannot be done. All in our group did 2 cycles one day and another the next. Absolutely invigorating and key for your visit whether you're hitting the trails, the farmer's market or the dance floor at a wedding. We can't wait to see what's next for the Featherbed as Mick is building a beautiful barn for future amenities!
