I have no idea where the good reviews of this place are coming from. I assure you all the bad ones have to be true. Nothing about staying at Blisspoint was pleasant. We had to change our room three times due to them being filthy, smelling of smoke and full of ants. We stayed our two nights in the best room we were going to get that we could tell hadn’t been cleaned in a while. When I asked to speak to a manager they told me the manager was off for the weekend. I eventually talked to him on the phone and he didn’t see any problem with how filthy his hotel is or the satisfaction of his customers. I will never stay here again and I strongly urge anyone that likes their hotel rooms to be clean to never stay at Blisspoint at all. Just spend the extra twenty or so dollars and stay literally anywhere else.

Booked through Hotwire. Glad I had my email to show paid receipt. Attendant complained about 3rd party booking. No king bed given I paid for at selection. 1 towel for 2 people. No cups. Coffee pot had coffee in it from previous guest. No kleenex in box. Toilet paper left on back of toilet (not on the roll). Leaky shower head. Pillow cases and hand towels very stained. Cigarette burns on comforter and chair. Loose electrical j-box hanging from wall. Smoke detector hanging from wall. Didn't bother turning on tv. Heating unit very loud. Attendant wasn't at desk at checkout... just a sign he was gone. So, I put my key (door lock type) next to the other two and left. Janky AF. Stay far away.

room 116 smelt like fish. old wood. giant window with light outside seeping in at night. no bath tub cork. hidden away soap and shampoo. flat pillows. outdated tv with only 10 channels. bed sheets had me itching. one lamp didnt work. key is an actual key. pool ouside looked nice. restaurant attached to motel. was up to see my girlfriend in marion. this was the only place available during a Jamers Dean car show, which had a direct hwy to marion. its located way out of the way from all the cool stuff in town. if you need a place where the roof wont leak id say go for it. if you want a proper hotel this is NOT it. best to stay elsewhere. 70 bucks for this room is theft. the pictures on here are fake. get ready for a real doody hole.
