The sauna is available year round.4. Is the cabin heated?Yes! The cabin has both propane and electric heat sources to keep you toasty even on the coldest of New England winter days.5. Is there a grill?Yes! The cabin has a propane and a charcoal grill. We do not provide charcoal, so bring your own please.Vinola has one bedroom with a queen bed. The main room has one single bed, and single cot. The loft has 2 single beds. (The loft is not to be used by small children for safety.) Full kitchen with stove, oven, refrigerator, and microwave. The bathroom has a toilet and shower. Vinola has a lovely porch on the front and a fire pit and gas and charcoal grills in the back. There are trails in Pachaug and Arcadia management areas that start at the end of the driveway.The cabin is a not secluded space. From the cabin, you can see our other cabin, a cottage and a few RV's (depends on season and number of guests). Please view ALL the listing photos to get a feel for the layout of the cabin in relation to other buildings.Guest accessGuests have private access to the entire cabin. A short 400 foot walk from the porch leads to the property's private beach which guests are welcome to use. There is a picnic table and multiple fire pits for campfires. Guests are also welcome to use our 10 person wood fired Finnish sauna. The sauna has a lakeside deck and direct access to the water for a dip. Guests are welcome to use kayaks, canoes, and paddle board.Other things to noteMany guests find that they have little to no cell reception here on the lake. If using the App, you can access check in directions without cell reception. We have WiFi in the cabin, so you can get connected as soon as you get inside. The login info is on the table.We have another cabin on the property, up to three camp trailers (occupied only in the summer) as well as two main houses. We have many family members on the property at any given time and all are friendly and happy you are staying with us! There is a house next door, another cabin behind, and a camp trailer that is occasionally occupied across the driveway.
