The experience in this hotel has been undoubtedly the most disappointing that our family has experienced so far in the south of Albania. We were a family with two children (10 years old and 1.5 years old) and since the hotel said that they offer food and drinks, I was happy that there would be a restaurant and it would be easy to feed the 1.5 year old child. We paid 140 euros a night for a hotel that claims to be 4 stars, but there is absolutely nothing that justifies the price and the 4 stars. As soon as we arrived, we were asked for the full payment at the reception, without giving us the opportunity to see the conditions of the hotel, and above all, in no place in the south of Albania, we have never had the full payment be made immediately. After going through the rooms, we were very disappointed: 1. The bathroom of our room smelled of sewage, from the balcony you could see a disgusting sight of clothes and towels hanging to dry. 2. The minibar only had the price list of the products and did not offer any products (even with payment) to refresh after that long journey. 3. The terrace (which was one of the things we liked when we chose the hotel, to spend the evenings there since we were with children) was not at all like in the photos and videos. After the payment was made, we were informed that no alcohol was served because the owner was a Muslim (while this is not written anywhere). Except this one evening I asked for a sparkling water and they didn't even have that. 4. The breakfast (for which we had paid well within the value of 140 euros) was scandalous, while in even cheaper hotels the breakfast is a buffet, here it was defined, with few things, most of them lingering, which remained and was served again the next day. After arriving and being so disappointed, we went to the reception to announce that we would stay only one night and then we would change places, because in those conditions with a small child we could not stay. Despite the fact that they could not counter our criticisms with any argument, they rejected our request with the sentence "the owner does not return the money". The only thing we managed to get was the tax invoice after we asked for it, because of course the hotel did not provide any invoice at all. The same Muslim owner who did not drink alcohol, did not have the kindness to understand at least the arguments related to the situation with our child. The thing that seemed even funnier to me was that the hotel had not opened the restaurant for 1 year, and the owner came and ate dinner in our eyes on the very first night after our complaints. At no time did he come to talk to us or ask about our grievances. I can write endlessly more about this scandalous experience, but I'm closing by advising you that you can spend that much money in places many times better and more dignified than this hotel.
