"Exceptional stay from August 17th to 23rd, 2025, room 201. Very nice hotel. Large, very functional, and very clean room. Very close to the city center on foot; no need to use the car. The hotel parking lot is rather small, but we always managed to find a spot on the street less than 50 meters away. The swimming pool is a real bonus. The breakfast is perfect with very good products. The hotel manager is very friendly and always available. We will definitely return. The only negative point is the rather noisy air conditioning; we had to turn it off at night, and it was very hot, but that's the only issue for us."

Improvements need to be made to the breakfast, apart from the castela cake the rest was very basic. This RYOKAN is a true welcome in Viseu and set the standards to a new level. A place to return."
