Yennie is an amazing woman that works hard to ensure that everyone that enters her litte piece of paradise is happy and loves staying at her homestay as much as she loves having them there. Yennie has created an oasis of calm in the middle of the Mekong Delta. Everywhere you look is a surprise waiting to be seen. Along with her Mom, Dad and husband they have done a wonderful job of perfecting the art of running a small homestay and is constantly striving to make it better, if that is possible. It is obvious in everything she does. The breakfast was excellent with choices to make everyone happy. We ate several meals there and you could tell fresh, local, quality food is used in all their meals. Yennie has made one of the best websites I have yet to see. Take a picture of the QR code and it opens up to pages of information about what the homestay offers, products used, family, bike paths and information on the area. We are at the end of our trip in Vietnam and the bikes offered were the best maintained in our whole trip. Talking to Yennie the country is in good hands with this new generation of young people that are striving to make Vietnam into a top destination. Loved the recycling bins.

Our stay at Mekong Pottery Homestay was fabulous!! We stayed at the newly established family room, which was wonderful: the decoration, bathroom and terrace. But most importantly, we had so many unforgettable, great experiences. Yennie and her family made our stay perfect. From the organization upfront, the delicious food and service, and the simplicity of how Yennie organized all sort of tours and the very honest recommendations she gave us. We have been off the standard tourist tracks and experienced the authentic life in Vietnam. The guide Henry was awesome, very knowledgeable, nice and fun to travel with. Our 2 girls (8 and 11) loved it!! These 2 days have definitely been a highlight of our vacation!! Thank you Yennie & Henry!

I had such a wonderful stay in Vinh Long thanks to Yennie and her family. Mama's food was delicious and Yennie's knowledge of the area was incredible. And the tours with Henry were fantastic! My room was lovely and welcoming and a great place to come home to after a day of exploring all the adventures in Vinh Long. 5 stars. I can't wait to come back! Xoxo

The warmest and most wonderful people who couldn't do more for us. The food was simply the best we have had on our entire trip. The rooms were so homely and welcoming and they had thought of absolutely everything needed and more with little touches that made our stay feel like home. Loads of tours on offer with henry the guide who was extremely informative and adaptable to our needs.

The most amazing homestay! Yennie and her family are so friendly and hospitable, and go out of their way to help you in any way possible. You can choose to eat dinner at the property and you won't be disappointed as her mum goes to the market and collect what she needs to make a delicious fresh meal for you. The room is so tranquil and well thought out with so many personal touches that you may need, including filtered water, hair dryer toothbrushes etc!! If you want to experience a real taste of local life come to vinh long! The tours yennie offers are off the beaten track we didn't see another tourist all day!! We did the motorbike tour and saw wet market, temple, snail farm and even went to have lunch and helped cook with a local family who were the sweetest! Our guides Henry and Vivienne were so knowledgeable and lovely they even took me to the local market to buy a similar knife I had used while cooking lunch!! One of the best days ever!! Highly recommend the whole experience

I only stayed here one night but Yennie made it an unforgettable stay over. My room had a hand painted greeting on a leaf and the door had my name decorated. The outdoor shower was a nature wonderland. The patio was filled with beautiful plants. Yennie gave me suggestions for a restaurant and things to do, also a history of the place. In the morning I chose the vegetable noodle soup with delicious coffee home made all, Yennie suggested a bike ride along the river to the market which was fun and interesting, greeted by friendly locals. Yennie gave me suggestions to the pottery village which was fascinating. I had a lovely personable time at Mekong Pottery Homestay and will definitely return if I travel to Vietnam. A real family experience.

No words can adequately describe how wonderful our stay at Mekong Pottery Homestay was. Without a doubt, this is the best homestay we have stayed so far with kids. The main highlights are the wonderful design, the welcoming atmosphere, the delightful food and the sensational tour around the Mekong Delta. W enjoyed cycling tour, making rice paper and the boat tour. Yennie and her family are extremely friendly, patient, welcoming and helpful. Thank you for a fantastic experience!

Yennie and her family are excellent hosts, providing a little oasis in the pottery area of Vinh Long in the Mekong Delta. Yennie is super helpful, Mum is a great cook and Dad a great driver. The homestay has free rental bikes to use, we used the ferry (5 minutes ride from homestay) to the island and thanks to Yennies maps pedalled our way through fruit farms and rice fields.

I just can't say enough about Yennie and her parents!!!! She is an absolutely lovely, caring, intelligent, helpful person. I wanted to stay with her but she was all booked up. Instead we rented bikes from her and drinks delicious beautifully decorated drinks. She also assisted us with our onward travels to Can Tho, which we appreciated very much!!!! Thank you Yennie for all your help, your beautiful, homestay and lovely conversation.
