We originally had planned to stay in Barichara but following our stay at this hotel, we are pleased that we chose it. Beautiful grounds, easy parking, fast access to Barichara and Guane and a beautiful gardens and pool. The room was comfortable and the breakfast was a combination of self-serve fruit, coffee, hot chocolate and juice and a made to order breakfast. There were many social areas both inside and out and a very nice bar area.

The stay was really good . Hot water showers , and cleanliness of the hotel in general is incredible . The owners and the staff genuinely care about this property and it shows. A special thank you to Diego . He was very knowledgeable and a pleasure to speak with . He takes the time to get to know the guest and hold genuine conversations. If/when I come back . I would definitely choose this hotel again .

Went to Hotel Brichara for a destination wedding in May….. The town is a perfect definition of the Colombian culture. …..This small boutique hotel has the greatest service, food and views from each of the rooms…. Definitely coming back… !!!

It’s my third time in this hotel, and everytime I come back, they improve something. The food is amazing . You have to try the calentado with fried eggs, the pandeyuca waffles or the Pizza. Mary gave me the best massage in the SPA, the rooms are clean, spacious and very confortable. But the best of all is the customer service. You don’t know which person is more kind with you! You must come!!!

Hidden Gem in Colombia! What an amazing experience. The place is gorgeous, the food is absolutely delicious, the bed is super comfortable, and the best part was the attention from Tamas and all the rest of the staff. Highly recommend this place. Will definitely come back.

We stayed for over a week and everyone from the staff was very friendly and professional. The menu offers Italian cuisine but, you can also request other dishes from the chef. The breakfast was delicious everyday and the pool and spa area are clean and well maintained and spacious. Thank you for making our stay so pleasant!

Room was clean, lovely and comfortable. Hotel was quiet, calming and refreshing. Staff was friendly, helpful and fabulous. The breakfast we had was delicious. Everything was fresh, well prepared and presented beautifully. (I am chef of a 5-star restaurant, I know when food has been preped with care) The colonial archetecture is fabulous with incredible views from the courtyard (as is typical of historic structures such as this) and Barichara itself is on the historic register, and therefore you will experience the beautifully maintened colonial structure of the entire town. A must see, if you are in the area.

The hotel is beautiful, the view in the moornings and the sunsets are stunning. We stayed in two different kinds of rooms the grand suite and de gran suite with terrace, both were great. The staff were very helpfull. I have a recommendation for the breakfast it is basic for the kind of the hotel, it can be improved, with a breakfast buffet.

Fabulous. Lovely room, great friendly staff , super gentle almost serene feeling to the place . One of those special spots where you feel privileged to have been able to stay there . Loved Barichara too, preferred to Villa de Leyva
