Hotel in zona Serra do Pilar Viewpoint, Vila Nova De Gaia

We stayed at this hotel on a bed and breakfast basis for 7 nights. The hotel was modern and clean, staff were very helpful. The room was cleaned daily and products restocked. The location was perfect for us as situated close to motorway. We had a hire car for the week so the hotel car park was great for us. Burger King was next door so handy if wanted a quick coffee day or night. The hotel does have a bar. Breakfast was scrambled eggs, bacon and sausage, alongside a full continental selection. I recommend this hotel, we would certainly stay there again.

Mi piace tutto dell'hotel :) Dalla posizione, le strutture, le decorazioni sono belle e calde. Sono rimasto davvero scioccato. Il servizio alla reception del ristorante è stato molto buono. La piscina ha una vista magnifica e lo Sky Bar ha uno staff molto cordiale, che ci fa sentire come a casa. Sono molto disponibili e professionali, tornerò sicuramente 👌🏼

Situato a circa 5 minuti di auto dalla stazione ferroviaria di Vila Da Nova Devasa e a 10 minuti a piedi dalla stazione metropolitana di Camara Gaia. Non è così vicino al centro di Porto. Nessun acqua libera in camera a meno che non sia un membro di Hilton Honors Silver e sopra, e questo è solo per la prima bottiglia. I prodotti come le padelle di cotone e i kit di vanità non sono stati rimasti a disposizione a meno che non fosse richiesto. Anche i tovaglioli manuali sono stati forniti solo il primo giorno. Kina è delusa dal fatto che fosse un soggiorno per la luna di miele, ma anche l'acqua è stato addebitabile a 6 euro per bottiglia perché ero solo un membro della Blue HH. I rack di tovaglioli non erano disponibili, solo i ganci. Altrimenti, un grande servizio dal personale di terra che poteva parlare inglese, tranne per una cameriera che non poteva capire “no ham no bacon” per le nostre omelete! Una semplice colazione serviva ogni giorno. Abbiamo anche ricevuto una piccola torta per festeggiare. Grazie per il soggiorno.

Posso anche iniziare la mia recensione con l'unico negativo che potevo trovare. Questa era la zona di fumo direttamente fuori dall'entrata dell'hotel. Così, non appena si apriva la porta per andare a fumare sigarette, è entrato anche. E ora le buone parti, senza dubbio, gli hotel, il più grande attributo sono il personale. La nostra settimana ha iniziato con una accoglienza molto calda da un giovane che era molto gentile e molto utile. Purtroppo, ho dimenticato il suo nome. Ma non credo che sia importante, perché è un tema ricorrente durante tutto il nostro soggiorno . Un giovane che ha bisogno di una menzione speciale che lavora dietro il bar mi ha detto che aveva solo 20 anni, che non credevo, perché è uno dei più onesti, fidati e sinceri persone che ho la fortuna di incontrare. È solo che non tutti i giovani hanno un atteggiamento, ora devo dire che tutti coloro che lavorano dietro il bar sono stati fantastici e gentili, quindi a nome della mia moglie e vorrei ringraziarvi tutti. Ma Andre Martins sei una superstar dal mio cuore, meriti un patto sul retro e una promozione. Un giorno, il mio amico, sono sicuro che sarai il manager. Assolutamente niente era troppo difficile. La gestione dovrebbe essere molto orgogliosa. La stanza era fantastica, vista sul fiume era pulita e temperata con molte camere. Abbiamo mangiato all'hotel e ogni volta che la moglie stava correndo fuori dal vino, qualcuno venne a fargli un po' di bottiglia. Le sue parole erano esattamente come una principessa, è stato bello che il personale ci ha fatto sentire molto speciale, il cibo era molto bello e noi due consigliamo. In tempo utile, torneremo all'hotel, come era ben situato. Grazie per l'inizio del nostro tour in Portogallo.

Emplacement très proche de l’aéroport. Le parking est top les places sont très larges donc pratique pour décharger les valises. La chambre est spacieuse et le lit très confortable. Le petit point négatif c’est la douche et les toilettes qui sont séparés par des vitres transparentes donc niveau intimité pas top. La personne aux toilettes est visible du lit haha ! Le petit déjeuné est agréable mais pas non plus extraordinaire. Juste le nécessaire sans plus.

A quirky former paint factory (so they told us) set about 15 minutes walk downhill to the riverside of the beautiful River Douro, with all the cafes, restaurants and port museums. Hotel fairly grand looking and hotel staff all smartly attired. We were upgraded to a lovely suite with window overlooking the Douro. Negative for everyone else that all other rooms had windows facing into the courtyard which seemed a poor design. Buffet breakfast adequate, evening meal adequate.

Hotel eccellente. Ottimo servizio. Nell'edificio vicino - un grande centro commerciale con buon furniture e Ashan. Ottimo colazione all'hotel per 15 euro. Bambino - gratis. Un po' meno il rating per l'ubicazione - a piedi, eccetto il molo non è reale, ma sarà in grado di raggiungere il perfettamente lavorato e costoso Uber (7 euro per Matozinjesh).

L'hotel è situato a circa 20 minuti da Porto. Ben comunicato con l'autobus quasi alla porta e perfettamente se si va in macchina. La pulizia è straordinaria, sia nelle camere che nel resto dei soggiorni. La lenzuola (toaletti e vestiti da letto) di buona qualità. Elegante avere aria condizionata nella stanza. Tutti i membri del personale molto amichevole in qualsiasi momento e dando soluzione alle nostre consultazioni sempre con un sorriso (appartamenti, reception, buffet) La colazione corretta. Un grande dettaglio fare un guincio alla gastronomia portoghese offrendo torte di cocco. Il parcheggio chiuso e gratuito è anche un plus da valutare. Vorrei congratularmi con la gestione dell'azienda e con tutti i dipendenti che lo rendono possibile. Si nota tutto il lavoro che c'è dietro per farci sentire così bene. ¡ Congratulazioni, equipaggio!

Do not be put off by the reviews for this hotel. Our experience was really good and with a little planning this could be the ideal hotel for your Porto stay. The hotel is a solid 5* and I spend a lot of times in good hotels. The bar area down stairs is comfortable and a nice place for a pre or post dinner drink. The cheapest decent wine we came across during our stay at Porto was here @ less than 4€ a glass! The executive room we stayed in was immaculate, large and with a very comfy bed. The views from the 12th floor were wonderful overlooking the river. There are two swimming pools and whilst the one on the roof was too chilly for a dip during the day at night it made for a very chilled area to drink. The other pool is above the gym on the 1st floor and it’s nice that there are dressing gowns in the bedroom so you can just go down from your room without having to walk across reception. The restaurant offers a buffet and a La carte. Neither were anything special and we only ate here once. The breakfast was much better with loads of choice and decent scrambled eggs! One of the best things was how cheap Uber are in Porto. You need them as there is nothing around the hotel and it’s not safe to be walking around at night here. 5€ To Porto, 7€ to Mastohinos and around 20€ to the airport makes travelling to places quick and cheap. Days out: If after a few days in central Porto and Gaia you are looking for other lovely places to go I would highly recommend going to these places: Mastohinos - 7€ in Uber and only 15 minutes from the hotelfor beautiful beaches, a lovely park and some of the best seafood restaurants in Portugal. Guimaraes: 7.5€ return on train from Sao Bento railway station. A beautiful medieval town with beautiful cheap dining, castles, palaces a cable car and more churches than you can imagine. If you do go here PLEASE try the pregos at Pregaria de Guimaraes. They are truly amazing and outshone for me anything I tried in Porto.
