This hotel is a pleasant 1 hour and 45 minute drive from Vientiane. The room was comfortable with a lovely view of the forest. The staff were friendly but not many speak English which is totally OK. The resort makes sure it employs local people from the area which I respect whole heartedly. Fortunately there was a lovely and attentive staff member called Bounthone who ensured I got everything I needed and helped me interpret. I left him a tip to show my appreciation. The manager Mr Xay was friendly and willing to assist when needed.
When I first arrived it was the last day of Pi Mai ( Laos New Year) so it was extremely busy with guests coming up for day trips. The day after was quiet and peaceful.
This time of year is dry season. I was disappointed that there was no water in the river and the waterfall as I was looking forward to a fresh water swim! I recommend a visit in the rainy season!
It was a comfortable stay. The food was okay. I will return when there is water in the river.

We had a great stay at Nam Pien Yorla Pa! The people working at Nam Pien were great and always ready to help. The activities (we did the Canopy Walk and the Ziplining) were amazing and the views are outstanding!! The rooms have everything you need and create a beautiful and peaceful atmosphere.

This was the most amazing resort I have ever been to. We planned to stay one week initially but extended for 4 more days since we just felt the perfect vibe there. If you are looking for a relaxing and beautiful place in the middle of a jungle, with food of greatest quality and access to a bunch of activities, all for a very moderate price, this is the place to go. I actually couldnt imagine anything better than it was, beside maybe a gym 555 Staff was overall very friendly and helpful. But Ms. Moukda just excelled in her area. With her hearth warming approach she made a great time even more memorable. Similar counts for Mr. Chansamone. With his big smile and his great attitude he made us specially feeling at home every time we came in contact with him. This place is one of the few that actually feel and look even better than it did on the pictures. And thats actually a challenge, since the pictures already looking simply amazing. Thank you to the whole team, the chefs, the thai milk tea maker, all the staff caring about the environment and whoever contributes to the wellbeing of the customers aswell. *a very satisfied customer

This is a real nature and adventure experience here at Nam Pien Yorlapa! Love everything here, great food and very tasty, very nice and spacious room. Staff are nice, friendly and very helpful. The activities is so fun and awesome. very safe. Definitely will come back again soon!

wow!! What an amazing place to visit. my family just booked room and spent our holiday here, it was really great. The room designed fancy, nice views from the forest, good foods thanks to Bounthone for great service with great cocktails . Our kids did some activities which is great for them. Also thanks to Xay and Chasamone for always assisting our need. we will definitely come back here again next time.

This place is so beautiful, and there are plenty of activities to enjoy. I had a great time, and it felt like a detox experience. We did many activities. The tour guides are really professional. Mr Khai is best. Also thank you for the best welcome from Mr Xay.Mone, Chansamone and all staff for their great hospitality . We highly recommend and definitely come back here again

I highly suggest the Nam pien Yorla Pa resort! Honestly, it was one of my most peaceful and relaxing vacations I have had and so near to home! The canopy walk along the river and ending at the nature museum was amazing! I did not participate in any of the adventure activities but they looked so fun. I found the choices of seating and comfortable spaces to sit and read and work were better than any place I have ever stayed. The swimming pool area was so nice and the pool was great. The price is right and the food was great. Thanks to the very kind staff who were always there to help.

Stunning scenery, superb rooms designed with taste, comfortable beds, delicious food in generous portions, loads of activities to do - from learning about biodiversity, trekking and riding fun luge... A perfect stay. Recommended for families.
