The magdas HOTEL, Austria’s first social business hotel operated by refugees under the guidance of tourism professionals is located in Vienna’s 2nd district, featuring a lush garden, just a 5-minute walk from the Prater. Guests can make use of free WiFi and enjoy snacks served in the on-site bistro. Every room is fitted with upcycling design furniture and tablets are provided on request. Featuring a shower and a hairdryer, each room’s private bathroom also comes with free Lederhaas toiletries including organic body and hair wash. Some rooms feature tea making facilities or TVs. Every day from 8 to 11 am our guest can enjoy an à la carte breakfast - ideally in our wonderful garden. magdas HOTEL features a lounge, where gregarious guests can meet. A tablet can be requested at the reception. In good weather conditions, the hotel’s garden and its terrace are the ideal place to relax. Guests can also rent bicycles for exploring the surrounding area or access a jogging track right at the doorstep. Around the hotel is a short-term parking zone. The hotel has some private parking spaces underground available at extra cost ad based on availability. Vienna’s Prater Amusement Park with the famous Giant Ferris Wheel is a 5-minute walk away. Spartano e triste, ma il personale è gentile e disponibile Notevole ritardo nella consegna delle stanze Dispenser sapone mezzo vuoto e stanze scarne Centrale, ma 4 stelle immeritate visto il prezzo! Tuttavia nel complesso accettabile Sicuramente si approfittano del fatto di essere a Vienna e della velocità di rotazione dei clienti Comunque nel complesso è accettabile

Firstly Suzannah is one of the nicest people you could meet, she works in the cafe at Magda's and you couldn't find anyone that was as kind, friendly and hardworking as her. She is such an asset to the hotel I hope the management appreciate the treasure that she is. This hotel is great, the design and decor is fresh and modern. The room was very spacious and comfortable. There was air-conditioning in the rooms, or windows that open. The bed was comfortable and everything was very clean.

Simple hotel but very well run, clean rooms, lovely staff, nice breakfast, including a great cappuccino machine, nice location. The rooms are sparsely furnished but it makes them feel spacious, our room had a balcony and was very airy, everything is practical, it worked very well and in its category it fully deserves five stars!

This is a wonderful gem of a hotel! Clean, comfortable, very conveniently located, reasonably-priced, wonderful, helpful staff, great breakfast in the morning. It was perfect and the staff did everything they could to make sure our stay was extraordinary. It was. I will definitely stay there again the next time I'm in Vienna.

We spend one fabulous night at the Magdas hotel in January 2023. The staff was kind and helpful. The atmosphere was great, the room clean, comfortable and had a beautiful kind of interior. The Sunday brunch was rich and healthy with a lot of vegan options.

Clean room, fresh clean sheets, bed very firm. Hot shower with rainhead. Wonderful breakfast with unique food items, ideas from multicultural staff. Room too hot to sleep and no a/c. Quiet for sleeping. Vine covered courtyard behind hotel.

I loved the room. It was perfectly clean. Food (daily menus) is great and at very fair price. Hotel location is excellent, city centre is very close and Prater park is in front of the hotel. Staff is VERY, VERY kind, polite and helpful. Hotel has a great "value for money" ratio and I highly recommend it.

I strongly advise against this hotel. Although I admire and appreciate that the establishment provides jobs and opportunities for immigrants and others seeking refuge, the vicinity would benefit from better customer service. Most of the staff were very unhelpful. When asked questions, they were often rude or even mean. I was supposed to meet my tour group for a welcome meeting at a restaurant that was supposedly within a 10 minute walk. I asked for directions, and the staff members just pointed and spoke some unintelligible street names. It was dark and cold, and I had no idea where I was going. I ended up walking in the direction I had been told but never found the meeting point. I fortunately made it back safely to the hotel but received similar treatment when I made other simple requests (where is the U-bahn station). Another guest had no heat in her room, and the staff just looked at her like she was an ***** and told her there was nothing they could do. Positive- relatively close to a U-bahn station, a small grocery, breakfast is included (it was for me) Negative- no hot water, cold, tiny rooms (not atypical in Europe), no amenities, very uncomfortable bed (like a rock), noisy. If possible, spend a little more money and stay elsewhere. I would rate this hotel 2.7 stars, but this is not an option.

My daughter and I stayed at Magdas hotel for two nights to visit Vienna and the Christmas markets. From the moment we arrived, to a lovely welcome from the reception staff, to the moment we left, the service, environment and professionalism of this hotel were superb. Exceptionally clean, really comfy beds and fantastic and varied breakfast. I would challenge anyone not to find at least one thing (and we found loads) to like on the morning buffet. We were able to check into our spacious and well appointed standard double 2 hours early, “no problem at all”. We were also able to leave our luggage on our day of departure for as long as we liked and when we came back to collect, it was all ready at reception desk. Brilliant, as we’d cut it a bit fine to get out to the airport and this meant there was no delay. Thank you to all who have made this such a wonderful place to stay, so centrally, in Vienna. I’m booking to again to bring my husband here for his birthday in the Spring!
