B&B Hotel Wien-St-Marx

Our Europe trip has bought us to the beautiful city of Vienna, and we are staying at the B&B Hotel Vienna St Marx. A reasonably new hotel, it has a funky vibe with nice clean rooms. The room we had was a little small as was the bathroom. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The hotel is situated on a main road, some of the front rooms are a little noisy. Access to the trams is across the road, the public transport is easy to navigate with some help from Google maps! Breakfast was included and was stocked with plenty of options for everyone. If you are on a budget and need somewhere to stay just outside of the Vienna city centre, I would recommend the B&B Hotel Vienna St Marx.

The hotel is located a little away from the center, but still in the city. Breakfasts are not included, modest, but you can pay extra. Parking is paid. There is no refrigerator, kettle, glasses in the room. Everything is modest, but clean and new.

The hotel is located next to some very busy roads making it very noisy. It is an unsuitable location for a hotel. Instead of keycards like a normal hotel, there is a numberpad on each door requiring a six-digit code. This is set to beep loudly on every key press. Beeping is incessant day and night, making it near impossible to rest. Guests should be paid to stay at this 'hotel'.

A brand new hotel in quiet area. It is easy to access by train S7 from airport and by tram 71 to Vienna. Although a budget hotel, the room is clean and comfy. The reception helped us arrange a quiet room. It could be perfect if equipped with kettle.

Waren vom 22.6.-24.6. in diesem Hotel untergebracht. 1. Hatten 2 h vor Ankunft kontakt mit dem Hotel telefonisch aufgenommen mit dem Anliegen ob man das Auto bereits vor dem CheckIn abstellen kann, was uns auch bestätigt wurde. Als wir dann gegen 12 Uhr eintrafen, sagte man uns, damit dies doch nicht möglich sei, und wollte auch nur noch mit uns auf Englisch kommunizieren (dachte in Österreich spricht man Deutsch). Aber gut, da WE gab es genug freie und kostenlose Parkmöglichkeiten auf der Strasse rund ums Hotel. 2. Zimmer wurde zwischen den beiden Nächten nicht gemacht, auf Nachfrage an der Rezeption sagte man mir, damit es anscheinend vergessen wurde, da es auf der Checkliste als gemacht vermerkt war. 3. Das Frühstück in Höhe von 12,90 € pro Person und Nacht war es definitiv nicht wert. Säfte waren mehr als 1/2 h leer und wurden nicht wieder befüllt mit dem Rest der Speisen sah es ähnlich aus. Die Tablets konnte man auch nicht aufräumen da die dafür vorgesehen Wägen und die umliegenden Tische voll waren. Des Weiteren haben wir festgestellt, damit viele für ihr eingenommenes Frühstück nicht bezahlt haben da es eine Kontrolle nicht gab (dies wurde zumindest an den Nachbartischen so kommuniziert). 4. Fernsehprogramm hatte lange Kanalliste allerdings gingen die meisten Programme nicht wie zb Sat1. Dies war allerdings kein Problem für uns, wollte es nur mal anmerken. Fazit Hoffe damit es sich hier nur um die Probleme in der Eröffnungsphase handelt und es besser wird. Die Zimmer, die sehr gute Innenstadt Anbindung sind auf jedenfall positiv zu erwähnen und haben Potenzial nach oben.
