Fruits of Vienna B&B

My stay at Fruits Of Vienna was excellent. My room was very comfortable. Els made us a delicious dinner when we arrived after a long drive. Our breakfast was a delight as well, as it included fresh sliced figs from the tree outside, and Els special coffee. I hope to stay at this Inn again soon when returning to Georgia.

This was our second visit to Fruits of Vienna B&B. Most recently we stopped here on the way home from PCB. The room was clean, large, comfy, inviting while remaining historic. It was a hot day but cool on our room thanks to individual units. The bathroom is modern, new and fabulous. There are stairs to climb to get to the rooms but very manageable for most people. Els is so kind and welcoming and wants your stay to be the best. She is also a wonderful chef and breakfast was fabulous. A blend of American and European with pastries to die for and she was able to accommodate my husband’s gluten free request and he was so happy since it was actually delicious. (Hard to get GF and delicious in the same sentence). We look for places off the interstate highways because seeing the countryside at a bit slower pace is more fun. Just be sure to check with Els about dinner options before arrival. It is a small town with limited options. (She can provide the evening meal too!) We had eaten before our 7:30 pm arrival. The only suggestion I might make is pack an extension cord because outlets in historic homes are not as plentiful. We only stayed one night so also packed a small bag to take in and left the big luggage in the car.

I had the pleasure of staying at the Fruits of Vienna while I was in the area to take a weekend-long BBQ pit master class. After long days at the class it was great to come back to a spacious and quiet room with a comfortable bed. My room had a private bathroom, and there were other amenities like snacks, bottled water and coffee. Els, the proprietor, asked me each night what I wanted for breakfast the next day, and at what time, and she put together a great spread for me each morning (which was much appreciated!) Els takes great pride in the property and in making sure her guests are well taken care of. I would always choose staying here over any of the hotels in the area. Great food, great service, great price!

Such a great, relaxing atmosphere away from the hustle and bustle. We felt welcomed and comfortable from the minute we checked in. And the breakfast was incredibly delicious! We only stayed one night. It was a pleasure speaking with the owner Els. My husband and I enjoyed listening to her tell us about where she is from, Belgium. The home kind takes you back in time. It's lovely.

The feel of 1911 Georgia with today's conveniences. The hosts are very nice people with interesting life stories they don't mind sharing. The grounds are a work in progress but are already nice and on their way towards being something really special. Breakfast is included at this B&B but, the host will also cook dinner for you! Els is a great cook and cost was comparable to a restaurant without having to go out. Our room was a little tight but, that was the tradeoff for the convenience of having our own bathroom (not very common in 1911 homes). We stopped at Fruits of Vienna on our way down to Florida and liked it so much we stayed again on our way back home!

We were in the Peach room. Spacious, warm, bright even on a dull day, as it has four windows. The excellent breakfast was continental, well presented in a large interesting room, by the very pleasant host, who we enjoyed chatting to. The towels/linen in our room were a bit tired, but that is a minor crisis I’m, as we had a really nice overnight stay.
