Struttura molto bella e curata nei minimi dettagli, peccato per i servizi, personale poco attento al cliente, il mini bar (a pagamento) non veniva ricaricato se non su nostra richiesta, il bar della piscina che doveva essere aperto fino le 7:00 PM chiudeva alle 5:00 PM senza nessun avviso e l’ultima sera del soggiorno non hanno resettato la camera, per non parlare della sera di capodanno che ci hanno messo a cena (pagata ben 400€ a testa) nel bar perché gli altri tavoli erano pieni….. comunque nel complesso posso giudicare la struttura super e il resto mediocre.

Mango House è una struttura eccezionale, attiva da pochi mesi. Ma la ciò che rende questo posto unico sono la gestione ed il suo intero staff. L’hotel conta appena 41 camere e la sensazione è quella di vivere in una vera e propria casa. Le attenzioni dello staff sono continue, tutti sono a conoscenza del tuo nome, delle tue abitudini e delle tue preferenze. Il cibo è di una qualità fuori dall’ordinario, la colazione viene servita à la carte, cosa che personalmente preferisco ad un buffet. Vi sono tre ristotanti, uno dei quali offre una cucina mediterranea, e grazie ad uno chef italiano è raro anche in italia potet mangiare così bene. L’arredamento della struttura è curato nei mimini particolare, ogni angolo dell’hotel è una vera oasi di pace. Agli ospiti vengono riservate continue attenzioni e opportunità, non mi dilungo elencandole tutte, ma cito l’auto elettica fornita per un giorno intero per poter vivitare l’isola, inclusa con il prezzo della camera. Mi definisco un cliente estremamente esigente poichè il costo di strutture come questa comporta inevitabilmente altissime aspettative, che talvolta possono diventare quasi “pretese”. Qui io e la mia ragazza abbiamo passato 6 giorni straordinari, nonostante qualche sporadico momento di pioggia. Ringraziamo di cuore tutto lo staff, di chi ci ha accolto, a chi ci ha servito, a chi ci ha sfamato :) speriamo di poterci rivedere un giorno, continuate così!

From the moment you check in until you check out, you feel like you rented an apar**ent and not live in a 5 star hotel. breakfast A la carte with a 2 o'clock wait for food . Flies, birds on the tables. The staff is tired, there are not enough towels at the pool (you have to beg for them to be brought). All our complaints went unheeded, it feels like no one cares. We ordered a taxi through the reception, we stood waiting for 25 minutes, it didn’t arrive and no one called or informed us. Small beach with big waves. There is no concierge, there are no services that could be offered in this hotel except for food, which must constantly wait up to 2 hours from the moment of ordering. The hotel is beautiful but only for photos.

Our stay was a disaster from our arrival at the airport. We had arranged a transfer with Mango House from the airport weeks in advance. I confirmed this 2 days before arrival. Nobody was at the airport and after repeated calls they finally got someone to pick us up. We waited over an hour at the airport after a very long overnight flight. They had clearly just called up a radon taxi, a dirty car with a driver who ranted about the political and economic situation in the Seychelles for a half hour. Not a nice start to the trip. The we arrived and they had us in a room with two separate beds, not what we booked. This appears to be a common problem based on Tripadvisor reviews. We waited over an hour while they got a manager and tried to figure out a solution, but there was no solution, that's all they had. I had booked a couple months in advance and had a printed confirmation for a king bed room. They just said all the rooms were full. During this hour long wait, nobody offered us anything like water or a drink (paid or not) and they didn't seem too bothered by the situation. The stay went downhill from there. The room smelled very musty and stuffy. We've been to dozens of troical countries and have been to the Seychelles many times before, so we know the musty smell is not normal, even in these humid conditions. The room felt worn out, even though the resort is relatively new. There were heavy scratches on shelves, what appeared to be water stains on the wood floor, a broken shower sprayer that just flopped down, small stains on the carpet and decorative mosquito nets, just not a nice room feeling. The central area with the reception and the lounge is in a beautiful spot overlooking the bay, however there were always dirty dishes on the tabes, old towels left on chairs for hours, dirty ashtrays left all day. It was very clear that nobody was looking after this central public space. The food & beverage offerings were overpriced and the service was poor. They forget two dishes during our first night's dinner. When we mentioned it, they just said sorry. You'd think they would ask if you still wanted the dishes, or if they could get us anything else. Nope, nothing, just sorry. Breakfast is very average. Small dishes are ordered from the menu (very small portions) then they come around with a couple boards of items like fruit, meat and cheese. These boards always seem to be picked over, so a few pieces left, not appetising. On the second day we arrived on the late side of the breakfast service due to being jet lagged. We were greeted by one of the staff looking at their watch with an exasperated sigh. It as clear we were not welcome since it was about 15 minutes before the end of the breakfast time. At a resort costing 600-1200 euro per night, you would expect a little flexibility with breakfast time, especially since most people are flying in from overseas and might be a little jet lagged. Worst experience ever at a 5* hotel. We chose Mango for our honeymoon, but we deeply regret it. After we checked in we realized that we were put in a room with 2 Single Beds, instead of a Double King Bed, that we booked. We tried to talk to them to move to a different room but their support was really bad, they did nothing to try and help us (for a 5* hotel, support should be top notch, they should try their best to help you with any issue). They just said that they do not have another room for us, that in a couple of days they will be completely booked. They seemed to not care at all, even though we were in our honeymoon. After 2 days they offered us a double bed in another hotel of 4*, which we refused as being a downgrade of what we paid. At some point during our stay we also realized that 300€ & 100$ went missing from my wallet (all the euros and dollars, our local currency was untouched), wallet that was being kept in my backpack the entire time (but not in the safe, my mistake, didn’t think I need to worry about safety in a 5* hotel). We discussed with the security guy, he started to make an internal investigation, but without succes. We left Mango on Monday 6th May, they said that investigation is still ongoing, but honestly I don’t expect to hear from them back. The loss is ours. I am wondering how this hotel got 5* since they are unable to solve anything, they move extremely slowly, and their support is close to 0 (except for 2 guys that helped us with day to day needs). Another thing that we did not like was the breakfast. The issue here is with the lack of options, as there were just a couple of options to choose from, each morning you get the same menu and you wait for at least 1 hour until they serve you because they were really slow (they serve the breakfast, it’s not buffet). The food was good, but for a 5* hotel, the options are quite limited and the service is too slow. We came to this hotel from Constance Lemuria on Praslin and it’s a huge difference, both in service and in overall experience and both of these hotels are ranked with 5*. I clearly don’t recommend this hotel. We should have went with Constance Ephelia which was at the same price, but we wanted to try something different on Mahe than on Praslin. Safe to say that was a bad decision. Worst choice ever!

Lived from 04/24/2024 to 05/04/2024 in room number 9 Minuses: No beach Deposit for 10 days 20,000 rupees. I gave it in cash. There are no gifts for my birthday or honeymoon, I didn’t even get congratulations. We were placed in a room with two separate beds, we immediately asked as soon as the room became available to be moved. A receptionist from Egypt of full build showed the screen and said that he could move us on 05/29/2024. The time has come and we are approaching 05/29/2024, the same employee already denies that he promised us something and said something. Very very very long service in the restaurant. If you have half board, breakfast and dinner. You can order everything a la carte in all restaurants. Breakfast - any drinks from the menu (can be ordered several times), any items from the menu (can be ordered several times). Dinner - all drinks are paid. Any dishes from the menu in one of the categories, except for the Motya restaurant where it is for 2-4 persons, you will need to pay extra. And now the most important thing - the waiting time for breakfast/dinner is at least an hour and a half. At breakfast you can stand in line to sit down if you come during rush hour 10:00-11:00. Eviction. Arrived for eviction at 09:20 Who checked us in did not enter into the database and took a deposit of 20,000 rupees from us The transfer organized by the tour operator arrived at 09:50 and stood waiting for us until 10:2 minutes. This is the first hotel where the checkout lasted one hour! We asked the hotel manager to come to us, but no one came to us.

Firstly, let me emphasize that this is not a bad property. However, in my opinion, a property should live up to the standards implied by its rating and price tag. As a lifetime Diamond Member, I expected more from this LXR - a brand I consider to be the crème de la crème of Hilton. Indeed, the property is well-kept and certainly gives the impression of being a good or even great property. However, I could not categorize it as a luxury property by any standard. The staff, while competent, do not extend the personalized service one would anticipate from a so-called luxury property - one which purports to provide an exclusive experience to a limited number of guests. They are liable to forget your name and repeatedly ask the same questions throughout your stay, such as whether it's your first day at the property, even after you've been there for a week. Unfortunately, the level of service and the overall vibe of the place do not reflect the luxury standards one might expect. What I primarily assess in a property is its hard product, mostly the rooms. Here, I found the rooms far from offering an exclusive experience. They are comparatively tight in size and almost all the units share a common area facing the beach with three other units, which makes for unusual arrangements. Although the property is well-maintained, it can get quite crowded, making it difficult to find seating at times. In the event you venture out later in the day, finding a spot on their modest beach or at any of the pools might prove challenging if the property is near full capacity. Overall, considering the price tag attached, I must say better experiences can be found elsewhere; not just in Seychelles, which leans towards the pricier side, but also at most beachfront resorts. In conclusion, if you are in search of an ultimate luxury experience with high standards of service, I regret to inform you that this property might not live up to your expectations. The standards of service are not up to par and the property itself does not reach the level warranted of a true luxury establishment.

Best experienced ever. Impeccable Cleanliness, Rooms were spotless, and their facilities were well-mantained. Beds were exceptionally comfortable. And rooms perfect size. Will definitely recommend and oh don't forget friendly staff everywhere we go, just amazing. Thank you Mango House
