528 Victoria Falls Guest House

A beautiful independent boutique hotel in Victoria Falls. Small and quiet with beautiful interior design touches. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and this was a wonderful place to stay. There is an indoor and outdoor breakfast area, and small pool. Plenty of shady or sunny areas to sit and relax and a beautiful friendly golden labrador who loves company in the garden.

After being on safari 528 Guest House was such a treat. The room was comfortable, the breakfast amazing, the setting beautiful and the hosts kind and generous with their love and knowledge of Zimbabwe. We so enjoyed our stay and wished we could have extended our time in Victoria Falls. Thank you Meredith, Paul and William for making our stay so lovely.

Where to even begin? From the moment we arrived, Paul and Meredith, along with Clara and the rest of the staff (including Lilah the most loveable dog!) made us feel right at home and in the best of hands. Our rooms were so clean and cozy, and the attention to detail was amazing with N’espresso machines, universal outlets, A/C, and more. Breakfast was tasty and beautifully presented, and we enjoyed sipping drinks from the well-stocked and incredibly varied bar on the rooftop deck while watching the sunset. There was always someone to see us off and welcome us back from each of our many activities, and they even took it upon themselves to help us with dinner reservations and coordinate transportation with a great taxi service, as well as inspire activities we hadn’t even planned to do but loved. Everything was so smooth and seamless, even down to the day one of us lost our passport(!) With a few texts and calls, it was back in our hands within the hour, making what should’ve been a very stressful ordeal feel like it hadn’t happened at all. To say they go above and beyond is truly an understatement; we only wish we could have stayed longer! If you’re headed to Victoria Falls, don’t think twice and book with 528!

Our stay at 528 Victoria Falls was just fantastic. Meredith , Paul and their staff were the most accomodating hosts. Nothing was too much trouble and they were very helpful with everything. We had a fantastic time at 528! The guesthouse is gorgeous, everything is done with great taste and a lot of attention to detail. Meredith, Paul and their family were great hosts, we even got a free upgrade to the family suite and a bottle of bubbly for our honeymoon. Thank you sooo much, guys! We had a wonderful stay!!!

One word to describe our experience is ‘Fantastic!’ Paul, Meredith & the team made us feel so welcomed as they recommended us activities, meals & other necessary details. Breakfast is delicious & my children love it! We love the serenity & the overall decoration of the place. It is clean and classy. We had fun times in the pool too! Thank you team!

My wife and I travelled to Southern Africa for our honeymoon and spent a couple nights in Victoria Falls at 528. Our hosts, Meredith, Paul, and William (+Lilah!), were very warm, welcoming, and genuinely cared about making our stay memorable. They even went so far as to provide us with a bottle of champagne to celebrate our honeymoon! Accommodations were very clean, comfortable, and had a beautiful aesthetic. The breakfast was delicious and they were able to accommodate my wife's dietary restrictions by providing some vegetarian-friendly alternatives. After chatting about how good the coffee served was, Meredith was kind enough to package some up for us to enjoy back home (which, unfortunately, we've run through in its entirety!) Overall, we are incredibly happy with our experience at 528. We are grateful for their hospitality and would highly recommend if staying in Victoria Falls.

Our stay at 528 Victoria Falls Guest House was one of the most memorable parts of our entire honeymoon! The facilities are as beautiful as they seem in the pictures - we loved exploring the grounds and looking at the art and thoughtful details. The room itself was also beautiful and extremely comfortable. We made use of the pool and the rooftop bar, enjoying both greatly. The provided breakfast was also delicious. A highlight was the hospitality of the hosts. They were warm and friendly, provided a kind, personalized greeting upon our arrival and were extremely available for our needs and questions. On top of that, they proactively offered help with details like taxis and dinner recommendations (including calling to make reservations for us) - super helpful in a place we didn't know that well. We enjoyed getting to know them!

A forced change in our travels landed us in Vic Falls without a reservation. Our travel agent emailed a guest house she knew well and asked them if they had two rooms that night and could take us in. What a bit of luck for us that they could. The 528 Lodge was a gorgeous, comfortable place nestled in gardens with terraces, pool, lounges and a rooftop bar with the best sunset views in Vic Falls. A perfect escape from the bustle of town with a scrumptious breakfast in the garden, a wonderful neighborhood restaurant across the street, and easy access to town when you wish. An absolute oasis. Our hosts were so helpful and charming. And Lila, their beautiful and beautifully trained dog, was a delight. I only wish we could have stayed longer.
