L'hotel è in una collina, ha un paesaggio aperto e splendido, molto adatto per le vacanze. Alcuni della camera hanno un po'vecchio ma molto pulito. This was a lovely historic building with a good location. The building itself and our room on the third floor was everything we had been led to expect. As an old building the climb to the top could be challenge for some, and we made sure not to haul our suitcases all the way up, but instead just unpacked the things we needed for one night. The room was clean and bright with uneven floors and a nice balcony. It was a bit noisy in the evening as every footstep in the hall could be heard I. The room but luckily most people went to bed fairly relatively early. It’s important to make reservations If you want to have dinner at the restaurant. We did so and very much enjoyed our meal. Only one small glitch was that the toilet in the bathroom made dripping or running noises that were a bit annoying. But the staff were very responsive the next morning and I trust they will have that fixed for the next guests. We love this hotel and would definitely stay here again. Given that we were on the third floor it would be nice to have a coffee maker in the room, but we also appreciated that Coffee was available at the reception desk in the morning. One interesting titbit of information was that Alexander Graham Bell and his wife stayed here back in the day And their room is still decorated in the fashion. It was at the time. It is room number one and we were lucky enough to be able to peak in and take a look at the room in the morning after the previous guests had checked out.

Mio marito e io abbiamo soggiornato 3 notti. Questo era un posto per noi, camminando a distanza dal parco frontale, così come due negozi regali, un buon posto di pizza e un grande caffè per colazione. La stanza era pulita e confortevole e tranquilla. Posizione conveniente. Non abbiamo mangiato nella sala da pranzo, quindi non posso commentare. Running a motel in Cape Breton is hard. Kelly’s view is an updated vintage Maritime motel . It was sourced for us by a family member for the August long weekend, not far in advance, when there was little availability. Therefore, if it had turned out to be terrible, it would have been chalked up to ‘experience’. Check in was quick, easy and friendly around 10 pm. They’re were expecting one more traveler. I’m guessing I met Ron, but I don’t know. Room#7 was fine. It was clean, had two queen sized beds, and did not have a musty smell. The TV worked well and picture quality was excellent. The bathroom has had no faults so far. Yes, it’s on a highway. That’s a plus when you are traveling in the dark! I hear cars and trucks passing by, but it’s not city noise. No, it does not have sir conditioning. North America and the world are experiencing a heat wave of unprecedented proportions and this Cape Breton motel does not need AC. At least we did not last night! It was fine! My bed was fine . Firm, but I slept well. Linens were clean, fresh, and while not like hotel linen in some Hilton’s etc, they were fine. Reading responses from Audrey to some reviews, I was pleased to hear they used the sun to dry their linen. That’s hard work! So, first impressions were great, and I would definitely stay here again.
