Abbiamo trovato questa splendida casa dell’800. Ricca di storia, Finemente arredata con un’accoglienza “english”, cordiale e gentile. Colazione inaspettata per la ricchezza e la formalità della proprietaria, da re. Situata vista Mississippi

Had made reservations before beginning trip and arrived late afternoon and were greeted by the owner/host. apparently there are rooms in the main house but we were given a unit on the top floor of an adjacent building. After check-in you drive around the main building and up a driveway to be adjacent to the separate structure. You still need to lug your luggage/stuff up a couple flights of stairs. The room was nicely set up. The bed was comfortable. Little lighting between the parking and the unit made it a bit difficult returning from dinner. In the morning the host serves you breakfast and joins you for conversation. Very pleasant lady. We discovered apparently we were the only guests which made us wonder why we were placed so far away from main building- presumably because the host considers our room as the best room. After breakfast, the host led us thru a few rooms of the main house. The Parlor is especially interesting and the host tells you the history of the Inn. We felt bad because we had to get on the road and the host clearly had more to talk to us about.

We made last minute reservations here on the way from a long road trip. Macy was so kind when we checked in. Immediately knew we'd be tired and hungry and pointed out several locations on a map we could take with us to dining establishments. Our room was in the Galleries (a separate building from the Mansion). It was quiet, had a view of the river (if you stay in one of those rooms you'll need to know you'll have to climb stairs - which we were fine with). Breakfast was so delicious and Macy regaled us with tales of the mansion's history and some of the artifacts that were found on or near the property. We, sadly, couldn't stay for the included tour of the home; we'd have loved to learn the history. But, there will be a next time.

If you are looking for Southern Hospitality, you will find it at Corner's Mansion! Macy, the Innkeeper, has honed the art of Hospitality. She cooks a filling, delicious breakfast and the setting of the table itself could be featured in Southern Living Magazine. The breakfast fueled us until dusk. Macy not only knows charm but she is a fountain of knowledge on the history of Mississippi. Our room had beautiful wallpaper, a gorgeous 4 poster bed, ceilings that reach to 13 feet. GREAT hospitality. Old South at it's finest. Met some friends and family there. Joe and Macy were very accommodating and gracious. Second time there. They were informative about the area. Plenty of outside seating on the veranda. Love this place!

This was a lovely place to stay in Vicksburg. Macy is the ultimate hostess! I stayed in the “Library Room” off the parlor and it was very cozy and comfortable. Made it quite easy to access morning coffee! Macy prepared an amazing breakfast; table was laid with beautiful dishes and she joined us for the meal. What a lovely way to meet the other guests! Unfortunately not all the guests were as considerate and left without eating the scrumptious meal. Macy provided a map with suggestions for museums and dining and was very attentive to any needs. She provided a very informative tour of the home and the history of the Vicksburg Siege and 1927 flood. Would highly recommend this lovely home!!!

Wife and me stayed at the Corners for two nights during a trip following Mississippi river from north to south. We dropped in spontaneously and, lucky us, got the big master bedroom in the main mansion at least for a night. Second night was in the neighboring building almost as good. Quite an experience it was, I love these old houses virtually breathing history. The Lady of the house showed us through and gave some good tips to discover the area around Vicksburg. Our rooms were first class, we felt like in a Hollywood movie. Every Morning comes a fantastic homestyle, southern breakfast. Would drop in again every time, absolutely no complain.

My wife and I are SOOO glad we stayed at The Corners! The accommodations are truly one-of-a-kind, and Macy and Joes's hospitality is incomparable. They have been so kind to us, going all the way back to last year, when you gave us a gift certificate for our cancelled trip. You made our stay very comfortable -- and informative -- but you did even more. You helped make our experience of Vicksburg one that we will not soon forget!

We had a wonderful time staying at the Corners Mansion in Vicksburg MS. Macy was very hospitable and shared her wealth of knowledge about her home. Joe made us delicious breakfasts that we ate in the lovely dining room with antiques and beautiful wallpaper. The Room ( Library Room) was very comfortable, with lots of books to look through. We enjoyed the other guests and visiting the museums and battlefield in Vicksburg. Very interesting place. We would definitely recommend the Corners Mansion as a great place to stay.
