Excellent stay at Highland Lakes Very tidy, easy communication with host, quiet location, all around great property. Would definitely recommend.

Clean, comfortable and cozy cabin! Great cabin, close to the lakes and beaches. Everything was so clean and comfortable. Amenities were amazing and it’s just a short walk to Beach 3! Cat and Michelle were so helpful with any questions we had. We would recommend renting this cabin to anyone visiting the area!

Nice Country Stay Very pleasant hosts, great location

A cozy stay This was the perfect small house in the nieghborhood of Highland Lakes. Very clean and welcoming. Host was easily available and attentive to all of our inquiries. Gas gireplace inside warms the great room and looks like the real thing. Outside deck and firepit also delightful. Neighborhood is quiet and access to the beach close - but topography is a bit hilly so be prepared for the walk. Overall a delightful stay

Cute house but local community is not welcoming Pros: house is nice and clean. Looks just like in pictures. We liked the interior design, very cosy and detailed. There are plenty of blankets, pillows. Kitchen is well equipped. It’s very close to the lake that has a small beach. Beautiful nature, quiet. There are neighbors so it’s not too secluded which was good for us bc we did not want to be in the middle of nowhere. There is a big supermarket 10 min away. Cons: The outdoor patio was not clean upon arrival. The cushions on chairs were wet. There is no dishwasher so if you plan on cooking it’s gonna be a lot of cleaning. A lot of mosquitos, the whole area seems like it has swampy spots so it’s something to keep in mind when you go hiking or try to sit outside by a fire pit. I booked the place for a whole week and upon arrival there were only one roll of paper towel and four rolls of toilet paper which was not enough for a whole week with 5 adults. The main con for us was the local community. We had an incident with some local guy tailgating us when we were on the main road and then stalking us all the way to the house. It seems like a gated community and their security didn’t even care to check on us. Instead they just talked to the guy and stand still watching us while we waited for cops whom i had to call bc we did not feel safe. The cops resolved the situation. The guy left. But this incident made us unwelcome and unsafe. This is not the owner’s fault but something to keep in mind if you go there.

Cozy cabin in convenient location Michelle & Cat are incredible. Both were very accommodating and very quick to respond to any questions. They were also flexible with check-in and check-out times, which was extremely helpful. The space was very clean and had all of the necessities for a few night stay. Close to the Appalachian trails. After our hike after, we enjoyed relaxing in the the backyard. Thank you!! Christine & Bernie
