Classic bedroom choice was very comfortable. The classic choice of room decor is slightly worn and facilities outdated but non the less charming."

"First of all, the listing showed the Ensuite but the host gave us the Loft room which was very conjusted. Me and my wife both bump our head multiple time on the corner of a wall near the window. Once I bump it so hard it felt like its going to bleed. The "sea-facing" room was quite misleading. On such a small island, you can see the sea from almost any elevated building. Simply being high enough to catch a glimpse of the sea doesn't make it a genuine sea-facing room, we didn't book the sea facing room anyway so no issues on that part. The bathroom is not very clean and very very conjusted. You can't even stand while showering because you could bump your head on the roof of the loft. you have to sit down in the bath tub while showering which makes it more difficult for us to take a small shower. With this heatwave across the country specially on the island, the fan provided in the room was the smallest one you can think of which is not blowing any air out, just running. The room and specially the bed has a lot of dust, meant its not cleaned properly. I paid £250+ for 3 night and not even a single night I slept properly. We went there to enjoy and relax but this hotel made the trip very frustrating. The room have no ammenities at all, The wifi signals was literally so weak that if you on the other side of the room it disconnects and we are talking about a very small room. The host told us to not have any food in the room at all which we respectfully accepted and abide by the rules. No fridge to store any food, not even allowed to heat up our own food which we brought from our home. I wanted some ice and asked the host to which he said its not "RITZ" that you expect these things from this hotel. I have stayed in many places across the UK with literally a less amount of what I paid to this hotel for more nights but never had this bad and terrible experience. This place should not be a hotel at all. I would never stay there again ever and with this amount. I would have slept more comfortably in my car instead of booking this hotel. Such a terrible experience."

"Da quando siamo arrivati e siamo stati molto benvenuti da Barbara sapevamo che avevamo fatto una grande scelta. Quando abbiamo visto la nostra camera da letto (camera 1 con terrazza di mare) ci siamo bowlizzati. Camera grande con un bel letto, divano con vista e bagno ben attrezzato. Il colazione incluso era eccellente e il personale non poteva essere più utile. Grande esperienza e grande valore. Ottima posizione con grandi ristoranti a piedi."

"Shona e Amanda sono ospiti perfetti, amichevoli e attenti ma non intrusi. La stanza era spaziosa e confortevole con bellissimi contatti aggiuntivi, cioè il decanter di sherry ( amato). I colazioni erano grandi, freschi preparati con ingredienti di buona qualità. Il cottage è ben posizionato per arrivare a tutte le parti dell'isola. Favoloso in tutto il mondo."

"My biggest disappointment on the Isle of Wight. I searched on the internet for the best carvery for a Sunday lunch and found the Chequers Inn at Rookley. Its claims to be the best and a range of reviews praising the quality and service going back several years plus positive comments on Open Table convinced me that this was the place to go. How wrong I was. The carvery looked promising but did not live up to expectations. The pork was overcooked and tough, the vegetables were totally overcooked and Yorkshire pudding was tough. To add to the general disappointment, it was all cold. I would certainly not recommend this place."

"Una delle migliori b & b che abbiamo mai soggiornato, incantato in bellissime aree circa mezzo chilometro da Ventnor, vicino al Giardino Botanico. Puoi camminare attraverso il vasto giardino fino al sentiero costiero e anche scendere in una piccola caverna. La casa è grande, ma ha solo tre camere da letto b & b, tutte ben attrezzate. La sala da pranzo e la sala da pranzo sono grandi e si sente come se fosse in una casa tranquilla! Robert e Ruth erano gli ospiti perfetti, sempre in mano per consigli sulla zona e aiutare con qualsiasi problema, quasi si sentivano come una famiglia. I colazioni erano bellissimi e avevate una vasta scelta da scegliere, non c'era bisogno di un po' di pranzo! Recommende il Spyglass Inn per il cibo di notte, nessuna prenotazione effettuata, il Bonchurch Inn per il grande cibo italiano, il Bistro e La Cantina a Ventnor, prenotazione consigliabile. Abbiamo avuto fortuna con il tempo e abbiamo visitato i Giardini di Mottistone, la Casa Osborne e il Castello di Carisbrooke, i nostri preferiti. Per un luogo tranquillo per stare con ospiti perfetti e grandi camere non troverai mai meglio sull'Isola di Wight."
