This hotel was the worst of the 10 hotels we stayed at during our 17 day trip. The other hotels were all 8+/10 this was a 3/10. Staff were unfriendly and the least welcoming we experienced. The hotel had 100 police staying with very loud music playing from our arrival to 11pm and they started singing loudly at 7am. There was mess from food left lying around for hours attracting crows, the crows would knock glasses over on the tables to get the remnants, in the end we picked them up and returned them before they smashed. Rooms tired, bathroom blind covered in mould. Air conditioning very noisy and not very effective. DISGUSTING pool towels that were filthy and in desperate need of a wash - fortunately we had our own. The pool steps were located nearest the cliff which ment walking around the narrow edge, this was a problem as the tiles surrounding the pool were broken/loose in places so we didn't trust the ledge to get to the steps. Breakfast started at 08:30 and we needed to leave before then. We complained to our travel agent about the noise and they reassured us it would not be happening on our second day and someone would come and discuss our concerns, we were not approached by anyone....I believe the travel agent has now written to them and are no longer using this hotel. On a positive they rang for a tuk tuk to take us to Varkala Cliff so we could eat out, enjoyed both meals at Clafoutis. The cafe next to the hotel also did a fantastic breakfast as we didn't fancy sharing breakfast time with all the police. The beach was nice and we enjoyed swimming in the sea with the waves.

Visited Elixer Beach Resort in late November; it was an incredible experience. The pool and its stunning views were highlights, complemented by the breathtaking sea view. The rooms were clean and well-maintained, offering great comfort. The staff was friendly and ensured a memorable stay. Highly recommended!

Stayed here for three days. Location is on the south cliff. The property is located at a very strategic position with breathtaking views from most rooms. The rooms are clean. However, few issues are there. It is not a five star property, but one of the best in the area given the view. The food options are limited and even with that it is average. Dosa was really nice. Access to sea is there. The adjacent cafe, trip is life, is a great cafe to have your meals. One great thing is that the property can help with pick up and drop and is very helpful. Overall a great stay with few hiccups.

They stay is very good. Must try in varkala. Beach facing room with balcony and infinity pool all together made awesome. Good for photography

Ac wasn’t working at our room and wifi also not working. We have complaint about it and staff haven’t taken any action. The room was too small and we haven’t get any facilities as per our payment around 11, 000rs. They don’t care about customer service.

There needs to be more options in veg menu 300 inr salad was not nice in any way. I. E there was nothing there so best to improve such things, stay wise room was good

View is great from the resort, private beach is also there which was also good and less crowded. Staff was very helpful.

How this hotel is rated what it is is beyond me. Probably worst hotel i've stayed in anywhere in India. Only there for 2 days otherwise would have just left. Do not be fooled by the photos. Issues include 1. Bedding and towels are an interesting shade of yellow (once white) 2. Old dirty mattresses in the corridors (see photo) 3. Pool floor has numerous missing and broken tiles 4. Ladder / steps into the pool are broken and discarded to side of pool 5. Garden furniture is old filthy plastic chairs 6. The cabanas are just about held together by rotten wood (see photo) 7. The clean pool towels are stained (see photo) 8. No safety deposit boxes in room or on offer (5 star?) 9. If its metal its rusty, if its wood its rotten, if its material it is filthy 10. Breakfast room is like a cheap service station with the most laughable selection 11. Reception staff going through the motions - hardly said a word 12. Rest of staff i think just given up 13. Came back one night and someone had been in the room and put up a camp bed in the room. No one had a clue why or who! etc Pro Cafe Trip is Life is virtually next door - perfect for breakfast

The hotel was good but the people in the reception seems to be amateur. Also when we booked it was written we will get complimentary drink when we reach but after asking them about it also they did not provide. They seems to be so lost. Other than that it was good. The location and the view was good.
