I stayed here for five days in September 2022. . I would liketohave stayed more. This was my second trip to the Glyfada area. On the map I was concerned that this hotel might be farther from Glayfada than it actually was. It is actually about a 15 minute walk to the center of Glyfada, but located between two tram stops which will take you there in about the same time without as much af a walk. The hotel is well kept, has a very nice and helpful staff and the rooms are some of the nicest for the price I have stayed in. I had asked for a room high up in the hotel and they gave me one. It had a nice balcony and very nice batroom/shower with very good amenities. It had a small refrigerator and an analoge TV, which was not much use to me. The internet was strong. Breakfast was basic but more than enough. It served drip coffee for free, expresso or capachino was an extra charge. To the south there is a nice walkway along the ocean with access to narrow beaches. The Glayfada geaches can easily be reached by tram. Bus stops in both directions are near by. In the Glayfada area most of the hotels are located on the noisy main road from Athens that passes right though town, making them quite noisy. This hotel is located on a side street which offers a reprieve from the noise. Breakfast is buffet style and can be eaten inside or outside. Before staying at Villa Orion I had made reservations for the rest of my stay at a hotel where I had previously stayed. Viilla Orion was just a fill in for five days that my first choice could not accomodate me. When I return to the Glyfada area Villa Orion Hotel with be my first choice.
