This sweet little holiday home is set in Galtabäck, south of Varberg,and overlooks the sea and the beautiful fields by the beach. The area isa child-friendly, residential area with mainly summer houses and thereis very little traffic. The cottage is just a few hundred metres awayfrom the harbour Galtabäcks Hamn.The cottage features a small kitchen, and a living room withwall-to-wall carpeting. There are two bedrooms, one of which is arebuilt hall. The bathroom features a WC, a washbasin,and a shower.Limited wifi in the house, 100 Mb download pro month.In the area there are mostly holiday homes. There are almost no traffic at all because the road ends here.Only a short walk if you want to take a swim in the sea. By car or by bike it is quite close to the small and cosy village Träslövsläge or the campingsite Björkäng with a chance to enjoy the sea or play mini golf.Galtabäck is a great place for those who take an interest in boats. Theharbour is very close, as is the boat museum where you can admire anumber of boats typical of Halland. Every year, at the end of August,they arrange “Båtmuseets dag”. Your cottage is situated only 10kilometres from the lovely town of Varberg, where you will find an arrayof shops, cafés, restaurants and more. Dont miss the old fortress, aninteresting historical remnant. The lovely island Getterön is not far,this is an amazing place for bird watching. The island also offersexcellent beaches, exhibitions, a boutique and a café.From Galtabäck its just a short 20-minute drive to the popular summertown of Falkenberg. Falkenberg offers plenty of beautiful walking pathsand excellent fishing opportunities. There are also tennis- and ridingpossibilities. The popular beach Skrea strand is not far from the towncentre, you can get there by bus or walk there. There are plenty ofother lovely bathing spots within a few kilometres distance. Strollthrough the Old Town and admire the picturesque view, stop for a coffeein one of Falkenbergs excellent cafés, such as Ståhlboms andBorgmästargården.
