L’hotel è una Haveli ben ristrutturata. Le camere ampie e pulite. Il personale attento e gentile (krisna e hasan sono pronti a darti ogni assistenza). Una bella terrazza panoramica sul Gange, peccato non sia servita la colazione in terrazza. Per contro il ristorante è stato riarredato in stile moderno che nulla ha a che fare con L’Haveli. Cena e colazione non di livello. Il rapporto qualità prezzo e’ assolutamente basso, anche la cena al ristorante. Per questo ho dato un punteggio medio.

Ottimo hotel molto pulito e caratteristico sulle rive del Gange. La camera e il bagno sono grandi e con tutti i confort. Aria condizionata, bollitore, gadget nel bagno. Personale gentile e cibo ottimo. Lo consiglio per un confortevole soggiorno.

Posizione vista Gange, vicino al centro, ma lontano dal caos. Molto ro***tico con cortile interno dove si ***gia. Terrazzo panoramico per rilassarsi in compagnia delle scimmie! Ristorante molto buono. Servizio curato e solerte.

Location perfetta con vista sul fiume Gange. Vedere l’alba dalla terrazza sul tetto è un’esperienza imperdibile. Il personale è gentilissimo e il ***ager Udai cerca di risolvere ogni tipo di richiesta. Bukna la scelta della cena e della colazione. Lo consiglio vivamente.

Con una vista mozzafiato sul Gange dall'hotel, un cibo che ipnotizza le tue papille gustative (provate il loro paneer butter masala) e uno staff super cordiale (specialmente Krishna Gopal Pandey), l'Amritara Suryouday Haveli è un posto imperdibile nella vita più antica città del mondo - Varanasi!

This is a great place positioned on the Ghatts but a few minutes walk from the very busy area. It was a quiet time when we stayed but the staff could not have been more welcoming and were even happy to prepare dishes to our request- may not possible when busy. We had a river facing room which was very comfortable and was cleaned sometimes twice a day. Nice rooftop terrace to drink tea and watch the world go by far below. Highly recommend.

This is excellent property. Our entire Varanasi trip was made easier because of this centrally located heritage stay. The staff of this place is absolutely fantastic. From cooking custom meals for our 2 year old to arranging commute within the city was top notch. If you are going to Varanasi stay nowhere else but this location. Beautiful window views and excellent in house boat tour of Ganga Ji is just amazing. 5/5

Stay away from this hotel. I reserved 2 rooms in March 2024 for a stay in April. I paid a deposit for half of the total amount on my credit card. About a week later, I cancelled and they agreed to refund me the whole amount but they asked for my bank details to do this. I asked them why they couldn't just refund my credit card, as that was the original payment method. They gave no reason and just said they would refund my bank. It has been almost 2 months and I have received no refund. I have sent about 20 emails to them and they just say that they sent the money. So I've now asked my credit card company to investigate. This hotel and company behind it is not professional and I would stay away.

The Amritara Suryauday Haveli is right on Gangaji. The rooms on the second floor facing the river are great. Our room was 206 and for the overnight stay was perfectly appoinnted. Do ask on checkin if you can get a Ganges view room. Suffice to say you only realistically need to sleep in Varanasi - well unless it is TOO hot. The waiting staff in the restaurant were attentive and there was more than adequate food selection - both Vegetarian and Western.
