Oltre ogni aspettativa: hotel pulitissimo e staff gentile e competente, attento alle nostre richieste. Siamo stati per il Dev Deepwali ed abbiamo fatto il boat tour tramite l’hotel, esperienza fantastica. La posizione è ottima come il cibo del ristorante. Consigliato

Floor, bed, washroom were unclean, everything was dirty. Bedsheets were stained and dirty. There was hair on bed and seemed like someone used it before. There was no ventilation in the room and the room smelled awful, disgusting, the smell of mold was so strong that we felt sick.

The room was terrible, the smell of mold was unbearable, we felt sick. We only stayed one night and literally ran away in the morning because it was so awful. The room was very dirty, as if it hadn't been cleaned in months. The bedding was also messy, dirty and stained. The bathroom was horrible, everything was dirty, we felt sick. And let's not talk about the price, too expensive for what you get, for that money you can get a suite with a pool in Kuala Lumpur. The room of course has no window, just a window to a dirty hallway. Avoid by all means.

The pictures that you see here are not real. It is no clear that the pictures only show deluxe suits. But the regular rooms are awful, no windows, no ventilation. The rooms are very humid. The photos on this page show the deluxe rooms (which I never saw, by the way) and then they put you in this very expensive hole. Sleeping at night is difficult. The staff are noisy. The lights in the corridors are on all the time. I had to go out several times to ask them to turn off the lights and stop making noise. The cleaning is poor, very poor in the common areas and corridors. The plugs in our room did not work well. The shower does not have hot water, only the tap, so the showers are with a bucket (if you want it hot). One person got stuck in the elevator and it took the staff a long time to respond and get him out. Paying by card has a 3% commission that is not specified anywhere on this page. A pitiful stay. I recommend you look elsewhere. It is not shanti at all.

View from terrace is very calming and relaxing . Owner is very helpful Lacation of hotel is very close to Assi Ghat and Lord Kashi Vishwanath temple.food is very delicious.Hotel is very close to Hanuman Ghat............................

Very near to all the ghats ,excellent river view from roof top ,staffs are really helpfull and arranged our every needs and rooms are clean .They provided car for our Allahabad tour as well which we enjoyed a lot.

Stay with Hotel Shanti Inn was great,, Wonderful hospitality by the team,, 10/10 to services and accomodation 👍 Easy to access and nearby to river front is a perfect addition to the Property.. Rooms are clean and comfortable.

We stayed in Varnasi for 9 days with our family. They had a very good customer care. The hotel is inside the street but close to the ghats and away from the sound pollution. The atmosphere surrounded by the hotel wax always very serene. The hotel was close to many important and old temples.

It is really shocking to find Hotel Shanti Inn Varanasi in Trip Advisor. After staying for a day in November 2022 in that hotel, I definitely feel the location, ambience and the unhygienic surroundings of the hotel do not deserve a place in Trip Advisor. The hotel is not on the main road and you need to walk about a km through the unhygienic lanes to reach the hotel. You may lose your way in the labyrinth of lanes. The river bank is infested by mosquitoes and insects and is definitely more visible post sunset. The front entrance of the hotel is also unattractive. Also when we wanted to check out after a day's unsatisfying stay, the owner demanded charges for the entire week (We had paid him advance of Rs 7,500 for a likely stay of a week) and threatened with dire consequences if we don't pay up. Ultimately we managed to walk out after a day. There are far better hotels nearby.
