Hôtel du Roy

Fantastic little place in the middle of champagne country! we stayed at this hotel as an over night stop on the way to Switzerland from Lichfield, England to break the journey up. Once into France the drive to the hotel was amazing. The hotel itself was easy to find, although one thing to note is that the main entrance is at the back of the hotel in the car park and not the image you see on google maps. We did not have dinner but did have breakfast which was simple yet satisfying. We were planning on staying there on the way back from Switzerland however our route changed so we didnt stay on the way back. Only thing i would say that whilst we had a good night sleep, the hotel itself is very creaky due to laminate floor boards on old timber flooring. Either way the place was lovely and so was the host. We were able to park which was a major plus although access to the car park was very tight and required us to fold up the wing mirrors - we were driving a VW Touareg which has quite a large footprint for an SUV. Smaller cars will be fine.

Nous avons réservé plusieurs chambres pour le week end à l'occasion d'un mariage. Lâccueil était très chaleureux et serviable. Les chambres sont bien équipées -très propres et calmes .Très bon petit déjeuner .Par ailleurs nous avons diné et déjeuner au restaurant . Le chef est super et nous nous sommes régalés.

Formidable accueil, chaleureux et convivial ! Couple sympathique et avenant, très à l’écoute ! Chambres atypiques et très bien décorées et agencées ! Très joli extérieur également ! Très accueillant et pratique pour les vélos ! De jolis moments à passer…

Nous avons séjourné un week-end dans cet hôtel et quel merveilleux moment. Le bâtiment ancien est magnifique et le jardin ajoute une touche bucolique unique. Notre chambre a été rénovée avec un décor ultra tendance, sobre et efficace, et l'accueil fut parfait. La table est aussi de très bonne qualité, n'hésitez pas !

Un lieu calme et chambre très propre et bonne literie. Tout est de qualité le service et la restauration. C'est très bon et la cuisine excellente. Le chef cuisinier connait parfaitement son métier , plats copieux et délicieux. BRAVO avons passé un bon séjour. Un grand merci à la serveuse très compétente à l'écoute du client. Il faut bien garder le chef cuisinier le top du top. Dommage des marches à monter pour aller aux chambres mais ce n'est qu'un, petit détail. Endroit à connaitre sans hésiter. Parking intérieur gratuit très bien pratique.

Un hôtel restaurant dans un charmant petit village Très bon accueil , jolie chambre confortable et soignée . Le petit-déjeuner est copieux et complet, Je vous conseille aussi le restaurant, cuisine raffinée, et excellente avec des bons produits.
