Le Belvedere

So disappointed in our stay here as we last visited 7 years ago and were very keen to come back but…like a completely different place. I’ll start with the positives, incredible triple A location on the edge of the gorges. Large rooms and very comfortable beds with good bed linen. Cold water available poolside. Now the negatives… There was a very small pool but dominated by huge flotation toys, so difficult to have a swim. Terrace and restaurant completely taken over by giant teddy bears, ridiculous! They were everywhere. We went to the terrace to try out the evening meal which was expensive and very little choice. However the worst was the music absolutely blaring out so we went elsewhere. When we returned we retreated to our room as again the music was blasting out. Our room was just above the terrace and at 11pm I looked out to see only the owner who was still enjoying his ridiculously loud music, oh yes, and about ten giant teddies. The hotel looks tired inside and done on the cheap with little taste. We remember it as being close to the beautiful nature and very relaxing. Not now sadly. By the way the staff are really sweet!!

Accueil peu professionnel , aucune réponse à nos questions sur les activités , bref on vous tend les clefs et prend votre argent .Le restaurant est hors de prix pour une cuisine très banal . Passez votre chemin ....... on a trouvé beaucoup mieux dans le centre de Vallon dés le lendemain .

Une superbe soirée passé dans cet hôtel idéalement placé dans les gorges de l’Ardèche. Accueil au top, chambre spacieuse et le jacuzzi super sympa sur la terrasse. Vraiment une belle adresse où nous reviendrons avec un immense plaisir lors de notre prochain passage.
