Logis Hôtel du Crêt Rond

Had a brillant week skiing at the end of January. This hotel was brilliant. Friendly, great food and amazing value. The hotel is a bit of a walk to the Verneys ski lift but not too bad, You could wait for the free ski bus but usually quicker to walk. At the end of the day we would ski into Valloire as it was an excellent run (and the run to Verneys was quite icy) and then get the free skibus which went every 15 minutes. The hotel was outstanding. Not fancy and pretentious but good solid French quality. The bedroom was a good size (Far better than we have had before in this price bracket). Looked like they had been recently refurbished . Comfortable bed, excellent shower what more do you need, :) Only issue was that the room was quite cold the first day. (possibly because we were tired from the journey and the room had been aired) however when we mentioned it we were given a portable heater and all was fine. We were on half board which is a no-brainer. Breakfast was excellent with all the usual that you would expect in a French hotel. (If you want bacon and egg and black pudding you are in the wrong country). Dinner was also excelllent, Starter, Main, sometimes cheese, and pudding. all good standard and well presented. No choice but there was nothing we didn't like. One night was fondue. Good choice of reasonably priced wine. The hotel has been in the family for generations and they clearly have great pride in it. The current owner is an absolute delight, but you do need to make the effort as she doesn't speak English (fair enough and the same in much of France). We will certainly be going back as soon as we get the opportunity.

Nous avons passé une superbe semaine dans cet hôtel (en demi-pension) Hôtel très propre et très fleuri. Très proche de très nombreuses randonnées (entre le col du télégraphe et le Galibier). Parking très pratique. La demi-pension (petit déjeuner et dîner) était formidable ! Bravo à Mme Martin (et à sa famille) pour l’accueil et l’attention qu’elle porte à ses clients. Merci.

Superbe hôtel, cet établissement a largement contribué à la réussite de nos vacances à Valloire. Le cadre de l'hôtel est très agréable. Nous disposions d'une chambre familiale, celles-ci sont tops, très fonctionnelles. Nous avons pris la demi-pension lors de notre séjour d'une semaine, les plats sont délicieux; avec des produits locaux, le petit déjeuner est au top ! Et surtout, M. et Mme Martin sont très agréables, toujours souriants et disponibles. Une chose est sûre, nous reviendrons. Albane, Gabin, Jennifer & Romain

Nous recommandons ce petit hôtel familial tenu par Mme Martin, une dame toujours souriante et attentionnée. L’accueil est chaleureux, le personnel très attentif. Le chef breton concocte une cuisine variée avec des produits locaux d’une grande fraîcheur. Petit détail qui a son importance, les chaussures de ski sont chauffées !

Un hôtel familial, avec une histoire, qui a su évoluer au fil du temps. Très belle decoration, donnant une atmosphère dans laquelle on se sent tout de suite bien. Chambre très confortable, propre, avec salle de bain bien aménagée. Repas et petit déjeuner excellents. Nous n’y avons passé qu’une soirée , mais l’accueil de la propriétaire et l’établissement nous auraient incité à y faire un long séjour .

nous avons découvert ce charmant hôtel bien situé au pied de la route du Galibier. La décoration montagnarde est soignée, les chambres confortables, la table excellente et surtout, la patronne est aux petits soins pour ses hôtes, toujours prête à faire plaisir, sans jamais être intrusive. Nous y avons passé deux très agréables semaines.
