The Cumberland Hotel by Neu Collective

La disposizione delle suite Deluxe è molto soddisfacente: l'ingresso è una sala da tè al piano superiore, collegata alla grande terrazza, e al piano inferiore c'è un letto e un divano separato. C'è un guardaroba e una grande toletta davanti al bagno. Anche il bagno è molto spazioso e la grande vasca e il lavandino sono molto comodi! Quanto sopra sono oggetti bonus, parliamo di domande senza parole! La seconda notte di check-in, dopo aver acceso il condizionatore per 20 minuti, la camera si è trasformata in una sala barbecue! ! ! Il fumo della cucina è troppo pesante per restare acceso! A Malta ad agosto se non accendi il condizionatore muori di caldo, se apri la porta per ventilare sarai disturbato dalle campane della chiesa accanto e dalla folla al piano di sotto! Ho chiamato la reception per lamentarmi. All'inizio ho dato solo la fragranza. Poi forse il manager stesso ha sentito che non riusciva a dormire. Ha dato una stanza sotterranea molto piccola senza finestre per una notte, e poi ha promesso di occup****ne il giorno successivo. Bene, di conseguenza, il giorno dopo, era sempre lo stesso, e c'era un altro cattivo odore sui capelli lavati! Cuore spezzato. Il manager di turno ha fatto lo stesso e ha dato un'altra piccola stanza per dormire... Il suo atteggiamento era molto sincero, ma non poteva smettere di spendere migliaia di dollari, dormendo in una stanza di diverse centinaia di yuan per la maggior parte del tempo, e il suo corpo era pieno di stomaci puzzolenti. Una buona vacanza si è trasformata in una grande serata per sfuggire ai fumi! Quando ho fatto il check out ho chiesto il rimborso della differenza di prezzo, il gestore mi ha chiesto di mandare una mail per spiegare, ma la mail è stata ignorata! ! Non volevo scrivere reclami, ma ero molto arrabbiato se non rispondevo al reclamo! !

Staff were professional and very friendly. Quiet hotel with comfortable beds. Nice views from balcony. Breakfast menu is amazing. We stayed here for 5 nights and would stay here again next time we are in Valletta!

Amazing small hotell in central Valetta. Large room, quiet and clean. Very friendly and helpful staff! Breakfast ordered from the restaurants menu, included in our stay. Always tasty, fresh food/coffee and with very friendly and attentive servers. We were 2 adults and 1 teenager in the suite, with sofabed upstairs. Perfect solution for us instead of 2 rooms. Can definitely recommend!

Great location in Valletta, wonderful suite with balcony, great shower, comfy bed and quiet despite all the hustle and bustle. Close to bus depot, shopping center, St John Co Cathedral and major attractions. Free water bottle daily and wonderful free breakfast. Rough towels, poor tea and coffee options, slow elevator, limited TV channels.

This was our first time in Malta and therefore our first time at The Cumberland Hotel. This is a lovely hotel, situated in the heart of Valletta. It is very close to shops and restaurants and places of interest, such as churches and museums. All of the staff we came into contact with at the hotel, receptionists, housekeeping staff, restaurant staff, were very friendly, polite and professional. Two of the reception staff stood out to us, they are Juliana and Zsanett, both of these receptionists were very helpful to us during our stay. The room was beyond our expectations, it was clean and tidy and very spacious. We booked a deluxe suite with a terrace and city view and we were not disappointed. Our stay included breakfast, there was a variety of items on the menu to choose from which catered to all tastes. The restaurant is situated on the ground floor of the hotel, the food was cooked fresh and was delicious. We ate at the restaurant every morning and on a couple of evenings. During Maltese bank holidays it is advisable to book a table at the restaurant if you want to eat there. It is a popular restaurant because of the good food and great service. I can definitely recommend The Cumberland Hotel as a place to stay in Malta.

Everything is exactly same as photos shown in the reservation site! Modernly decorative and bedding is also comfortable. Welcome cookies are lovely and staff are very kind. The hotel is located at slanted street but unlike other streets no steps so easy to rolling the carriers. Breakfast is outstanding. It's not buffet style but order base from the menu, and tastes and amounts are so great. I love and highly recommend this hotel!

Positives: great location, wonderful staff, and extraordinary breakfast. Negatives: rooms that face the courtyard get significant noise from people using the elevator, despite a sign at the elevator cautioning them to be quiet.

Services at this hotel was exceptional, whether at front desk or at the restaurant. Santiago at the reception deserves special mention. He was very helpful, professional and accommodating. Loved the deco. Centralized location, very convenient. Restaurant was excellent. Had dinner there everyday.
