Residencial El Llano

We are just finishing our holiday and had we known about all the rules we wouldn’t have booked here. Firstly there’s no bar or restaurant which wasn’t apparent on the booking site. Secondly there’s no food or drink allowed at the pool which is open from 10-6. We watched people getting told to leave sun beds at 6.15pm These people were sunbathing and reading quietly (as per the rules advising quiet conversations) and were all over 50. There’s no smoking even on balcony apart from 1 area near the pool which closes at 6. Reception staff not very helpful. There’s absolutely no atmosphere and nothing to do but read or go in the pool (til 6pm). The resort caters for Spanish and Germans. We were the only British voices to be heard. Our husbands got stuck up in the mountains due to the heat and we asked reception if they could get us a taxi but as it was a Sunday they said nobody would come. Receptionist wasn’t interested. We walked to the nearest pub at the end of the street and the guy behind the bar got us a taxi to pick them up and take them back to the car. Don’t book this hotel unless all you want to do is read all day every day. The resort itself is spotless and there are plenty of good restaurants with lovely food. I don’t know if it’s the time of year but everywhere shuts at 10pm

This is a good hotel with an excellent price quality ratio. The apartment was spacious with a nice balcony and the swimming pool area was very nice with a good pool and plenty of palm trees. Valle Gran Rey is a beautiful place with a good choice of restaurants while not being overly touristy. La Gomera is a beautiful island with stunning valleys, lots of trees, plants and flowers and truly great hiking. It's one of the best winter and early spring destinations within easy reach of the European mainland.

Sin duda no puedo irme más contento de este alojamiento. Te hacen sentir como en casa y eso lo es todo. PERSONAL. Desde el Director hasta el resto del equipo de recepción y personal de limpieza y socorrista todos geniales y majisimos LOCALIZACION. A 7 minutos andando de la playa se encuentra en un enclave perfecto. En la misma manzana encuentras farmacia, supermercado, carnicería, frutería y bares. INSTALACIONES. Muy top. Apartamentos amplios y cómodos con todo tipo de comodidades. La piscina un lujo ya que una está climatizada y las hamacas son nuevas. El jardín muy bien conservado. Volveremos algún día seguro

Lo mejor: Apartamentos muy buenos, bien mantenidos y muy limpios. Bien situados, zona tranquila. Bonitos jardines y buena piscina. Al apartamento no le faltaba de nada, equipado con todo lo necesario. Lo que más me gustó es que tenía televisión y ventiladores tanto en el salón como en la habitación, detalles que se agradecen mucho. Lo peor: Pedimos con antelación habitación en piso alto y no hicieron caso, nos dijeron que no había disponibilidad, y a la mañana siguiente... qué casualidad, aparece el apartamento encima del nuestro que ya estaba vacío cuando llegamos, creo que lo hacen a posta, porque si cambias de apartamento te dicen que hay que pagar un suplemento de 50 euros... ¡Alucinante! ¡Lo nunca visto! - No te dan información a la llegada, todo es a través de códigos QR. - No limpian ni jueves ni domingo, pero es que tampoco sacan la basura ni te dejan bolsas para que la saques tú, cuando limpian, solo limpian el baño, no barren el suelo ni limpian el polvo. - El wifi va muy mal, hay que meter la clave continuamente. En fin, son aspectos que se pueden mejorar, aun así, volvería, porque suele tener buenos precios y es de lo mejor que hay en Valle Gran Rey.

Buenos días!!! La queja no va en absoluto con el complejo, salvo el calor y que aconsejamos ventilador. La queja viene por lo siguiente, la verdad es que me pilló en off con mi profesión porque la idea era disfrutar y desconectar con la familia, por lo que no actué como debía haberlo hecho pero...para Que la gente tenga en cuenta lo que puede ocurrir: el día anterior de nuestra salida, mi peque ( tiene capacidades diferentes, dejémoslo así) se creyó que la tele la podía coger tipo tablet y en un momento la coge y se le cae, después de ese tremendo susto, su llanto y que cerciorarnos que no le pasará nada, nos dimos cuenta que la tele, dejó de verse debido al golpe,....por todo....esa noche no pudimos ni dormir..desde que nos levantamos comenzamos a recoger y avisamos del incidente, totalmente accidental a los responsables del apartamento, cual fue nuestra sorpresa que nos cobran 150 euros, sin peritaje alguno....y teniendo en cuenta que DEBERÍAN TENER SEGURO......a día de hoy no se nos ha reembolsado dinero alguno......y nos sentimos " estafados" y que se frustraron nuestras maravillosas vacaciones en la isla por este tema. Por ello queremos dejar patente nuestra experiencia....tomaremos las medidas oportunas....porque lo importante es que nuestro pequeño está bien.

Nice appartements in Valle Gran Rey, with outdoor pool, complete kitchen and small but adequate bedroom. No breakfast, but a supermarket and German bakery are around the corner, and the next door restaurant offers breakfast. Restaurants and harbour are about 10 minutes walking distance. The only detail that was lacking a bit was the living room couch, which quickly gets uncomfortable. But when that is the worst you can say of an apartments complex, it's good.
