Hotel in zona Academy Sports + Outdoors, Valdosta

Tutto il personale era molto piacevole. La proprietà era molto pulita. La mia famiglia e io eravamo molto al sicuro. Tuttavia, la struttura del bagno era ridicola. Andate in bagno. Devi sgridare nella vanità per chiudere la porta. Se si inclina contro il bagno, i vitelli si ingoiano contro di esso. Questo è grosso. Ci siamo rimasti una notte, quindi l'abbiamo tollerato. Eravamo nella stanza 521....it buttati fino all'ascensore. L'ascensore non era così tranquillo come si supponeva. Waaaa ....umming up. Waaaaumming down. Alzati, giù, giù, giù, giù, giù, giù, giù, giù, giù, giù, giù, giù, giù, giù, giù, giù, giù, giù, giù, giù, giù, giù, giù, giù, giù, giù, giù, giù, giù, giù, giù, giù, giù, giù, Solo questo mi fa voler ”cash” e tornare al Holiday Inn. 4.5 stelle.

This was my 3rd stay here but first in many years. Upon arrival, I requested an upgrade for my Diamond level IHG status but was abruptly told that the hotel was full! ok, I understand. I then asked, if possible, to have a room with a tub. No trouble so we checked in and went to a room which only had a shower! Back to the lobby and a different, but friendlier person. She gave us a room but upon arrival there, we found a tub but also drooping drapes and a loose lock on main door plus it was a connecting room. Back to the lobby and the same second person, but she disappeared and a manager appeared. The manager was very apologetic and offered us each a free drink. She gave us an end room, which I believe she called an ”Endeavour” room, which she said was one usually reserved for Delta pilots. We got there and it did have a tub but was also a connecting one. I gave up! The weirdest aspect of this room was the location of the toilet. To stand in front of the sink, one had to straddle the toilet since it stuck out and obviously was a last minute placement. (see picture) We headed to the bar area for our free drink plus decided to use our 1/2 price drink/appetizer coupon that everyone receives for a steak quesadilla appetizer. It was mostly soggy ground beef, but it did for our dinner since we weren't too hungry after a mid-afternoon lunch in Cordele. We had planned to go to Publix and get some wine and maybe some snacks, but we decided just to make do with one drink and a split appetizer so money saved! While we were having our appetizer, the manager walked by and asked about our room. I thanked her for her attention but stated that our room was a connecting one. She immediately had the bartender give up a 2nd round of drinks; me Gin & Tonic, other half, white wine. We finished our appetizer and took the remaining drinks to the room and got to bed early. Breakfast the next morning which I receive complimentary as a Diamond perk was very good with great service. The 2 servers and the chef were very friendly and welcoming. I got a large glass of water, which I refilled twice. I had the biscuits and gravy which came with 2 eggs and a meat (I had bacon, which I requested soft but it was a quite firm since they must prepare the bacon in advance and just keep it warm!) Other half had a wrap and a bowl of fruit. In summary, manager tried her best. She said she would have definitely upgraded us to a suite due to my status had the hotel not been full. The breakfast team was fantastic and as welcoming as I remembered 5+ years ago. I would still give this place another chance but would hope for no issues, although I did enjoy 2 rounds of free drinks.

La stanza è molto pulita, molto tranquilla, la colazione è particolarmente semplice. Questo prezzo è buono per mangiare, non essere troppo curato.

Questo hotel è il vostro andare all'hotel. Ho soggiornato in questo hotel 2 volte entro un mese. E 'la VERO MIGLIORA. Le suite sono spaziose e pulite, il personale è VERO amichevole. colazione è stato preso & andare, ci sono buoni ristoranti e un centro commerciale all'interno di camminare. Amici membri del personale. Rimarrò sempre in questo hotel.

Una vergogna. Avrei potuto dare a questo hotel un rating di cinque stelle. Il problema è che è così vicino a I-75 che il rumore del traffico è in ritardo tutta la notte. Abbiamo anche avuto la nostra macchina audio con noi, e potremmo ancora sentire il traffico. L'hotel era pulito, la camera era bella, la staff friendly, buon colazione.Vorrei mettere questo sulla mia lista di posti dove stare in futuro, ma purtroppo, a causa del rumore, non lo faremo. L'hotel è ben consapevole del rumore, quando abbiamo trovato i piastrelle orecchie nel bagno dopo aver controllato. Infine abbiamo usato i piastrelle orecchie, ma gli ospiti non dovrebbero doverlo fare. La mattina seguente, un membro del personale mi ha detto che la nostra stanza era sul cosiddetto ”lato rumoroso” dell'hotel.

Molto bel hotel proprio fuori dall'autostrada. Le letti sono molto comodi. L'hotel è carino, tuttavia non abbiamo avuto il nostro cane con noi, ma è stato divertente vedere gli altri accoglienti.
