It only covers the driveway area and audio is turned off. It is used for security when nobody is at the house.This is a country home, so some things to note are:-The house has some small quirks that add to it's charm, but may be different from city homes-In spring, summer, and fall there may be mosquitos and other insects that can bite, so insect repellent may be a good idea. While there are screens on all windows, insects may get inside from time to time when doors are opened and closed.-Note that we live on a dirt road, so there may be dust and some potholes/bumpiness on that small stretch of the road before our driveway.-We use well water, which is tested and safe to drink. It may taste different from city water, so if you prefer to drink bottled water, it is available at the nearby market.-Water pressure in the home can be variable. Only one shower can be used at any one time and if you run water using appliances such as the dishwasher or washing machine while showering, pressure in the shower will drop.-There is a sump pump in the crawlspace under the house that runs periodically throughout the day. This is nothing to be concerned about, but you may hear it from time to time. It just keeps groundwater out of the crawlspace.-Walls are not very well sound proofed on bedrooms/bathrooms-There is no fenced yard, so dogs need to be kept on leash or well-supervised and children supervised.-There is anpath through the forest behind the house, but it is very natural and the first part is wetland and can be very wet and muddy depending on how much rain we've had, so rain boots may be needed. There may also be logs to climb over in places, which adds to the adventure, but may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.-This is a country home and we try to leave things as natural as possible to provide homes for pollinators and other Woodland creatures.
