Lift House Lodge

We booked very late this year and could only find this studio at Lift House Lodge. We were very nervous upon arrival as far as the space in the studio. We were pleasantly surprised!! We rented a premium studio and it was clean, updated and much more spacious than we anticipated! We arrived afterhours but used the lock box and late entrance to enter. There was a queen bed upon entry into the studio with a double set of cabinets/wardrobes to separate it from the living room/kitchenette. Our daughters slept on the pull out sofa and said it was more comfortable than they expected it to be. The bathroom was quite large and updated. The location couldn't be beat - very convenient to everything. Front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. The dog was adorable too!

Pros: Very short walk to Eagle Bahn Gondola and Born Free Chairlift. Located right in the middle of everything; restaurants, shops, etc. Vail Village is about a 15-20 minute walk and has many more restaurants. Room was very clean with a nice size balcony and mountain views. Cons: Need to ensure a safe, ice-free path to enter property from the parking lot. Property and rooms could use some updating. The entire building was hot and the air dry. Thank goodness the room had a Fan. However, we also highly recommend providing humidifiers in the rooms. Overall, this property worked well for our needs and we would stay here again.
