Avoid This Hotel Like the Plague — A Scam in the Name of Hospitality If you're considering staying at Sunday Hotel Vadodara, run in the opposite direction — even the railway station’s waiting room across the street would offer a better experience. I booked a classic room with a queen bed but was shoved into a cramped room with a single bed, and when I raised the issue, the receptionist Muzammil, who is astonishingly rude and dismissive, claimed that’s their definition of a queen bed. Seriously? The property is in shambles — stained walls, leaking AC, and zero maintenance. The air conditioner drips water continuously, and the mini-fridge is laughable — it keeps your water bottles hot, not cool. If you're hoping to take a shower or even rinse off, forget it — zero water pressure in the bidet and the shower. The overall vibe is sleazy at best, and it feels like the place primarily caters to escort clientele, not genuine travelers or families. What’s most appalling is the discrepancy between the glowing online reviews and the actual experience. Avoid this nightmare of a hotel at all costs. Dealing with the unprofessional staff and staying in this dump isn’t worth a single rupee. I've had better experiences in highway dhabas.
