Hotel in zona Voormalig Station Vaals, Vaals

Un hotel senza frittelle, ben decorato, ben situato, pulito. Nessun male da dire (solo che un più accurato assorbimento della saldatura del cassetto superiore sarebbe stato benvenuto). Ma tutto il resto era davvero ottimo. Non dovevo interagire con il personale della reception durante il mio soggiorno, quindi non posso riferire su questo; la ragazza che mi ha controllato era efficiente e gentile, ed è stato tutto il contatto che avevo con la reception. Ho passato notti interessanti al bar per gustare diversi gin del loro ricco menu gin, e i due camerieri con cui interagisco erano molto utili e professionali. Aveva una ”camera con vista”, non la più bassa gamma di prezzi, e era perfetta per una persona, anche se era una doppia. Infatti il letto era doppio, ma il giacca sarebbe stato sul lato piccolo per due persone che rimase più di una coppia di notti. Se devo sottolineare che non c'è una cortina leggera oltre alla cortina di spessore, oscura che aveva la stanza, se non volevi essere vista dai vicini all'interno dell'edificio, l'unica opzione era chiudere la cortina, che era molto efficace nel oscurare completamente la stanza. Questo a mezzogiorno sembrava un po' troppo radicale. Ma il riassunto della mia esperienza è che tornerò a questo hotel se ancora una volta a Aachen.

Quell'hotel è stato e continua a essere il miglior hotel a Aachen, la mia famiglia e io abbiamo frequentato questo hotel sotto diversi nomi dal 1985, Aachen è una bella città, ma Quellenhof è la gemma e il ghiaccio sul torto. Questo è come casa per me e la mia famiglia, e per rendersi conto che COVID-19 ha creato un disastro nell'industria dell'ospitalità, ma sono sicuro che questo hotel brillerà sempre, il personale è giovane, leale e dedicato, le camere sono comode, Il ristorante e i bar sono una classe, quindi il grande giardino, il grande lobby e la sala antenne sono i migliori ovunque. Il Spa è eccezionale con prodotti di firma BABOR Posso aggiungere un punto sul servizio di colazione nel ristorante , questa è una classe sopra il resto, niente corrisponde a questo , non solo a Aachen, ma altrove, grazie per aver reso il mio viaggio bellissimo.

We stayed here for a night and it’s basic and fine. The breakfast just had the necessities like some eggs, bread, cheese, ham, etc. but it was good. They also had a nice coffee machine so if you want to drink a cappuccino you can! While the breakfast area was small, it was enough to seat quite a few guests. When we arrived (I believe it was around 8:30am) there were tables that were not cleared yet and during our breakfast only one of those tables was cleared and cleaned which is something they could improve so the guests don’t have to stare at trash all the time. The room did not have a fan or an airconditioning, which is fine, but we also could not open the windows at night because they did not have screens and there were quite a lot mosquitoes and other unwelcome guests waiting to get into our room. The windows were also extremely dirty which is quite disgusting since they open inwards. The beds were clean and the mattress was soft and surprisingly comfortable! The bathroom had soap and showergel/conditioner attached to the wall and the showerhead was small but powerful. For the elderly there was a chair in the shower so you could sit down. The towels were clean and there were two shower towels per person. (the smell in the room also gave away a lot of elderly stay there) The surroundings of the hotel are beautiful so for people wanting to cycle or hike its perfect. Outside the hotel is a seating area where you can drink something. The seats were comfortable and there was plenty of shade. While you drink your cold beverage you can enjoy the view of a small lake and fountain separating the hotel from a main road. We read online this was a 2 star hotel but it was worth 4 stars. In our opinion everything was fine but compared to other 2 and 3 star hotels we stayed at it is definitely not worth 4 stars. Definitely a hotel to consider for an event so you basically only have to sleep there. We were nicely surprised by this new (or recently refurbished?) family-run hotel. It is very cozy, laid out in a ”motel” style where each room is entered from either the courtyard or a courtyard balcony. We did not use the swimming pool but its use was offered. The courtyard garden and surroundings are beautifully kept and fit well with quite picturesque neighbourhood of Eynatten. There are five restaurants within a walking distance if you happen to arrive, like us, on Sunday night when the hotel restaurant is closed. The breakfast was very good and when there was a slight confusion as to the time the brakfast started, the family started running around and managed to start the breakfast within minutes after our (early) arrival to the breakfast room. The location close to the highway makes it a nice place to stop on a long journey.

Abbiamo soggiornato per 2 notti, la camera per 3 era essenziale ma molto spaziosa, i letti comodi, tuttavia l'area del bagno non ha porta, il wc e la doccia hanno entrambi una porta di vetro attraverso la quale puoi vedere totalmente e ascoltare tutto, molto imbarazzante ! L'hotel è molto grande e il cibo è ottimo, colazione, cena, bevande - tutto bello e non troppo costoso. Il servizio non era buono, la nostra camera non era pronta quando siamo arrivati, e quando finalmente siamo arrivati, il terzo letto non era pronto (anche senza asciugamani), il pagamento della colazione era molto frenetico, e finalmente quando ha piovuto non ci aprivano il cancello per entrare nel parcheggio perché “il parcheggio è allagato”, dopo 5 (!) chiamate al citofono siamo riusciti ad entrare e abbiamo trovato una piccola pozzanghera, nemmeno vicino ad un allagamento (La nostra altra macchina non era nemmeno bagnata!). Era davvero stupido e maleducato e semplicemente superfluo.

In een prachtig gebouw een prima en royale economykamer gehad. Goede douchefaciliteiten. De medewerkers aan de receptie zijn voorkomend. Gevraagd om een waterkoker en kregen toen meteen de vraag of we ook bekertjes en theezakjes wilden. Wij konden vanuit hier weer heerlijk uitgerust verder met de Dutch Mountain Trail.

Il servizio era buono. Stanza completa. Colazione ben presentata e ampia scelta. Purtroppo avevamo la camera sopra l'Irish Pub. È abbastanza inutile. Non ho chiuso occhio fino alle 4 del mattino Nonostante le finestre chiuse la ventola, anche l'aria condizionata non fosse e faceva molto caldo .... Queste stanze sopra il pub dovrebbero essere effettivamente utilizzate ora ......

In Heerlen you got several options for a hotel , if you are in need - whenever I can I will go for the Kasteel TerWorm ... been here before , and I think I will be there again ... So arriving before noon is typically not the best at any hotel, no difference here on the topic - the lady at the reception was kind and get me the key and all the forms - but she asked me kindly to wait till my room will be ready - I went for a walk in the garden and surroundings , you have some picks attached to the review. Room was at the ground level in the courtyard building, room 14 - I got - and it was very clean , spacious and with a good size bathroom that had a tub and a shower - depending on what you want. Bed was comfortable - the minibar for free .... breakfast - a nice selection of buffet, eggs, meat , etc ... so everything for everybody. To distance a bit customers you could choose breakfast till 9 or after 9 ... so to split a bit the guests. Outside my room - I had room 14 - there were 2 chairs at a table and a decorative bush in that bush a duck was nesting between the branches - such a nice thing. Overall I had a very good stay - with helpful staff and a very good hotel experience and for sure if I go to Heerlen again , I would choose the same hotel for my stay. I recommend you try it and if you don't like it just blame it on me .....

I was extremely satisfied by my stay at Thermae 2000. Located on a mountain in Valkenburg, the panoramic views and the natural beauty of the surroundings give a great sense of serenity. The hotel is very comfortable. Each room, fully equipped and well maintained, has a little terrasse with a peaceful view on the forest. Built as a pyramid, it is the only hotel I know that has a little funicular instead of a lift to go from one floor to another. The staff in general, and especially in the hotel and the various restaurants, are always smiling, polite and seem to care and be happy to work in this place. They will make you feel welcome and comfortable, and attend to your every request with a smile. The spa facilities are very extensive, super clean and well maintained, and you can choose from a variety of options to suit your mood and needs. There are pools inside and outside and a very large choice of saunas, steam baths and water treatments as well as lots of space outside to relax and cool down. Throughout the day, free group activities are proposed. The spa treatments are very professional and enjoyable. The therapists are skilled and pleasant. All the rooms are clean, well maintained and provide the perfect atmosphere to relax and feel pampered. I tried the gastronomic restaurant for dinner (« Pure”) and it was perfect. The Indian lady Executive Chef has a very inventive, superbly presented, sophisticated and tasty cuisine. It is a bit expensive but worth every penny. The dishes are creative, fresh and flavourful, and the service is impeccable and reasonably quick – although the restaurant was full on that night. (It is advisable to book in advance) Overall experience: Perfect for a special occasion. I believe, it is one of the best spa resorts in the Netherlands and among the best in Europe. I personally truly unwinded and enjoyed every minute of my stay.

Interesting, entertaining place! Efficient, friendly and satisfying… Car parking should be available closer by. The hotel itself is well designed. Please watch your TV channel list, half of channels are not available. Overall recommendable - Keep it up!
