Convenient stay only 10km from Heathrow, nice location next to canal with good steaks in restaurant and good cooked breakfast options. Suite was spacious and well appointed (fridge, hairdryer) at reasonable price, albeit with a few negatives: no towel rail or ledge space in bathroom (and cold floor), bed had stains & hairs in it, noise from bar on Saturday night until quite late. Overall though a good and fair priced option.

Booked the rooms as having a function on the Saturday night . One of the managers Christine couldn’t have been more helpful if she tried but I was super disappointed with the room I got , which was more expensive than my friends , who’s was far better. The hairdryer didn’t work, kettle didn’t work, flush on toilet was none existent. A film of dust over everything. No where to put stuff in bathroom other than the floor. The area outside was like a building site. Entrance steps to my room hadn’t even been swept down nor had the windows or door been cleaned so were covered in building dust. Eventually the rooms and courtyard will be ok but not suitable to have been booked out yet . My son also stayed in a wooden hut which also wasn’t great. Bathroom had an awful smell and also smelt musty. The whole outside area needs some attention as has the potential to look beautiful but too many ****s etc. Quite scruffy to be truthful. I wanted to give a good review just based on how helpful Christine was but I seriously can’t .

What a little gem. We had a late flight into Heathrow and didn’t want to drive home. Booked this because it was 4 miles from airport and price was very reasonable. Room was well equipped and very clean. In a lovely spot. Staff couldn’t do enough for us. Would definitely stay again.

bed was very untidy. pet hair was present every where. Breakfast is not worth mentioning. There was no bedding available. It was very poorly managed. It is in a very beautiful water front. If you don't mind sleeping in an unkempt bed and over priced bed, it i good to enjoy bird sound in the morning

The pod was charming, individual, clean, comfortable, and hospitable. Staff showing me to my room were friendly and helpful. The cottages are in a lovely location set away from main roads - it was a delight waking up next to the canal. The location was very convenient to my destination of Heathrow Airport. I had not booked the accommodation myself, and was pleasantly surprised by what good value for money the venue offered.

We had our wedding here and it was such a perfect day - Christine and Natalie were fabulous wedding planners, so good at replying to all my questions and emails in the months leading up to our big day, kept us fully updated on everything made sure we were happy with everything, and on the day really helped with all the set up in the morning which was such a weight off not having to organise that! Reception drinks were lovely the food we had was absolutely amazing everyone was very impressed with their meals and the evening buffet was so much more than expected and would have easily been enough for all the guests if we hadn’t had the wedding breakfast as well! We would highly recommend The Watersedge and am so glad we chose this venue for our special day

Very welcoming and loverly accommodation in a great setting. Perfect for our trip to the theatre in Hayes. Enjoyed an excellent meal in the restaurant. No breakfast in the restaurant as doesn’t open until 12 but cereal, croissant, and yoghurt provided in the room which suited us.

Stayed here for 3 nights while visiting Brunel University. Very convenient (20 minute walk and even shorter bus ride) to West Drayton train station for jaunts into Central London. Same bus option in opposite direction to get to Brunel (30 minute walk). Tesco and Aldi located close by should the in-room yogurt and bread croissant not cut it (good thing for the fridge in the room). Stayed in Grand Canal view room #2 which had 1 queen bed and ensuite bathroom. Unfortunately there was no hot water in the sink, but lots in the shower. I mentioned this to the staff via email and in person - no response via email and a stunned "sorry can't help you" response from the in-person complaint. The room could also do with more options for hanging clothes as there are only 2 fixed hangers in the room. The adjacent room (#1) was not occupied the 1st 2 nights so it was very quiet, but the 3rd night (next morning really) is when we noticed the extremely thin walls where normal conversation levels could be heard. We managed to enjoy a meal in the onsite restaurant and it was very good (generous house salad and very good fish and chips).

An excellent stay in one of the pods alongside the canal. Friendly staff on arrival, a quiet, spotless and very comfortable room with breakfast options laid out for me as I was leaving early. I stayed here as an alternative to the large, noisy airport hotels as I was flying from Heathrow the following day and I'll definitely be using Watersedge again - such a nicer alternative and really convenient.
