This is our 3rd year hosting our Transformative Healing Retreat for families who have lost loved ones at the hands of another and we cannot imagine doing this healing work anywhere else. This is a deeply personal experience that is curated specifically for each set of families we host to make the experience one to remember for a lifetime. Thank you to the entire VC staff, who have become more like family, for being so personable and accommodating as you help us bring joy and healing to the families! You are an amazing team that starts with the phenomenal owners and their vision to create what is truly a breathtaking paradise. Whole experience was breathtaking. The rain was a positive Adventure its self. The staff went over and beyond, chef made a pizza for lunch for my husband even though it wasn’t on the menu. The views from our room or anywhere on the property were amazing. Stayed 4 nights 5 days wish we had stayed one or two more. So much to do in the area.

Everyone must stay at Vista Celestial! I was so surprised by what we got for the price. When it comes to all inclusive, I was expecting the bare minimum, but this place gives the true meaning of all inclusive. Our stay was $4000 total (we added on the adventure package) for us as a couple and this felt like a $10,000 trip for such a low price. The second you arrive, until you leave, the staff treats you like royalty. The resort was full, but somehow we never saw a soul. It felt like our own private resort & we felt like rockstars! Everyone knew all of my food allergies and the chefs curated our experience to fit my needs. I am actually autistic and experience high levels of stress and anxiety, so with that being said, Alexa made this the smoothest vacation I have ever experienced. She planned every adventure, along with scheduling our rides to and from the excursions. She even wrote up a handheld itinerary for me, since I have a horrible memory. If we were gone for 30 minutes, housekeeping would pull in (unseen) and clean that room like a pit stop on a race track. It was CRAZY. We left for lunch one day and came back to massage tables and towel origami set up for our private couples massage. Now let me tell you, that massage was the best I’ve ever received in my life. I don’t know where those girls studied, but she knew EXACTLY what she was doing. A private yoga session was also included & their yoga platform in just to die for. Go check out those photos because it’s where you could only dream of having a yoga session. Just overall, simply amazing. The one word I could use to describe this trip, and everything Alexa did for us, is unimaginable.

The views are outstanding and the staff equally outstanding! We saw lots of wildlife and enjoyed beautiful plant life, while enjoying beautiful views of the ocean!! We woke up to outstanding views of the ocean and landscape. There was a private hottub to enjoy the view from. We ate outstanding meals while enjoying the view as well. And saw toucans, owls, and several other birds and butterflies while eating. The staff are very helpful and willing to supply items to make your stay more enjoyable. They gave us the best welcome!! They offer great spa services and several day activities. The whale and dolphin watch was another big highlight for me. If you want to see costa rica and be pampered- this is the place to go!!

What a gem of a place! Even during rainy season, this place is incredibly peaceful and beautiful. The rooms are larger than what they look like in pictures (because of the super high ceilings it's hard to understand the scale of the space). The bed and bed linens are top notch. The food is incredible, especially the chef's daily dinner menu. Every staff member was super friendly and attentive. WiFi is fast and reliable. Thanks Vista Celestial for such a wonderful stay, I'll definitely be back!

I took a group of gals to Vista Celestial for our Goddess Retreat and this place was beyond magical! From the stunning location to the impeccable service - this was an unforgettable experience. The excursions were so fun, and the property was beautiful. We enjoyed how kind the staff was (they remembered our names immediately) and the vegan food was off the charts delicious as well as the presentation. The rooms were in the perfect location with breathtaking views. I would highly recommend this place, not just for the beauty, but the high level of care the staff provides. Would definitely come back to this resort.

Aside from the phenomenal views, the staff were absolutely perfect. Every person was more than happy to speak and take care of us. The owner even spoke to us every chance she got which made us feel very welcome. From the planning of my engagement, they were entirely flexible and easy to work with. My now fiance liked the place so much that she even suggested we have our honeymoon there too! We will definitely have to go back there sometime soon, thank you to everyone at Vista Celestial.

We came back to Vista Celestial with our 13 month old after visiting as a couple in 2022! The newly remodeled villas are gorgeous with multiple seating areas indoors and outdoors. Our toddler went from 3-4 steps at a time to 15 motivated by crossing between king sized bed, chaise, and breakfast table! Other highlights of the rooms for our family were the plunge pool and outdoor shower - so easy to cool off, warm up, or wash off the sand. The staff provided a cozy pack n play crib (with a quick changeover after an accident) and a high chair so that our baby could eat in the villa. Outside of the beautiful room setting, we enjoyed delicious meals and cocktails with lots of fresh fruit for baby. We got a babysitter through the hotel and went out to Corcovado National Park where we saw a tapir and scarlet macaws! The chocolate tour (including making our own chocolate) was my husband’s favorite part of the whole trip. Also highly recommend massages on the deck of the villa. The on-property waterfall hike is always great and we saw agoutis and many tropical birds and lizards while hanging out on our deck and hiking around the resort. Nearby Arco beach is also a fun low tide adventure ! Notably this visit was during rainy season and it barely impacted our visit - one excursion had to be rescheduled for rainy conditions and we enjoyed the relaxing rain sounds from our villa in the afternoon. Thank you to Jennie & Greg, Pamela, Sharon, Anthony, Jose, Andres, Esteban, and the rest of the team for another perfect vacation! We can’t wait to come back.

I absolutely loved this place! We visited Costa Rica for our 32nd wedding anniversary! Our stay started at Nayara Gardens and they exceeded our expectations! So the bar was already set high! And Vista Celestial came through! I absolutely loved our villa! And the view! OMG! The view was outstanding! I could have sat on our villa deck all day and did absolutely nothing! The private pool and outdoor shower that were attached to each villa were added luxuries! And the included breakfast was definitely an additional treat each day! Presented beautifully! They also provided beach chairs, an umbrella and even a cooler packed with ice for our beach excursion! Oh and they even do your laundry! Which is much needed when you are doing a road trip in Costa Rica! Thank you Vista Celestial for an unforgettable experience! Until we meet again!
