We stayed at Wind Valley for 5 days and we had a very happy stay during that time. The room is comfortable, in a home farm with a cardamom plantation in the back. We were treated to the song of a Malabar Hornbill on our first day there! Vinayak is a friendly, chatty host, plying us with endless cups of tea and arranging tuk-tuk and jeep transports as well as confirming local bus timings. He accompanied us to various locations in the hills - highlights were the tea factory, walk in the forests around Anchurulli, ayurvedic massage, and visits to his favourite lunch and tea spots where he introduced us to local Kerala cuisine. Highly recommend.

We stayed at Wind Valley for a weekend, and it was an unforgettable experience. The rooms are exceptionally well-maintained, offering a luxurious and comfortable stay—it truly doesn’t get better than this! Wind Valley is conveniently located near the Ramakkalmedu trekking point, the jeep safari entry, and the Kuravan Kurathi statue, all within walking distance. The highlight of our stay was the hospitality of the owner, Mr. Vinayakan. He was incredibly helpful and encouraged us to join the early morning trek to the Ramakkalmedu sunrise viewpoint. It was an absolutely breathtaking experience—one of the best things you can do in Ramakkalmedu. He personally guided us to hidden viewpoints and caves that we would have never discovered on our own, making it the most adventurous trek I’ve ever done! To top it all off, Vinayakan even captured candid photos of our journey and shared them with us on WhatsApp, adding a special touch to our experience. I highly recommend Wind Valley to anyone planning a trip to Ramakkalmedu—it’s the perfect place to stay for an adventure-filled getaway!

A great chance to experience the Cardamom Hills off the main tourist track. A Super team under Vinayak and all set in beautiful gardens and cardamom plantation. An excellent trip to the tea gardens and spice processing site was another highlight

This a simple but beautiful farmstay with a lovely garden seating area. The host could not be more welcoming and helpful. He showed us round his spice plantation, organised taxis and took us to an organic tea and cardamom farm The only downside is that as it is on the road to the lookout point so was sometimes noisy with traffic. It is only a half mile walk to beautiful lookout point views.

Very welcoming and wonderful. The property is beautiful and clean and has a real homely feel to it. The host is really kind and goes the extra mile to make his guests feel welcome and looked after. The food was excellent. I would highly recommend.

We had a wonderful stay at Vinay's homestay. He accommodated us last minute and we are grateful for it. Breakfast was delicious! We walked into his garden and Cardamom farm. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for a genuine experience with great Host. Thank you Vinay!
