Hotel in zona Nancy Villegas Yepez, Urubamba

Firstly I will start with the positives, the hotel was nice with beautiful greenery surrounding. The decor certainly wasn’t modern however it was perfectly fine. Secondly the negatives, customer service was inadequate. Two of us are vegetarian and one morning we had to leave before breakfast opened so were told we would have ‘takeaway breakfast’. We clarified that these would be vegetarian three times (at checkin, the night before and in the morning when collecting the bags) but when we got on our journey we found they both contained ham. This is absolutely unacceptable and I hope they treat allergens more seriously or they could kill someone. When we mentioned this to the receptionist she just smiled and nodded and said ‘oh okay’, which is not an acceptable response. Also you have to pay for water here which we were absolutely fine with. When we bought a second lot on the second day we realised we had paid double the amount the previous day. When I said this to the receptionist again she just nodded and after a long pause said she would call someone. Other members of our tour group also agreed they had paid double the price the previous day. The following morning the receptionist was extremely rude and told us we were lying. She also told us, in a borderline threatening manner, that everything we do is on camera which is a bit weird given we were in a hotel so hoping she didn’t mean ‘everything’ as that’s a gross invasion of privacy. When we asked to watch the camera footage she was speaking of she told us it wasn’t available. The amount of money was not significant but the reaction of staff was wholly inappropriate - especially for a hospitality business. Overall would not recommend anyone stay here. Customer service skills require a lot of improvement.

Sono stato davvero impressionato con questo hotel. Certo, è fondamentale, ma ha tutto quello che hai bisogno. Il personale del desk front era super utile e parlava bene l'inglese. Gli spettacoli in tutto il Perù, come ho trovato, erano semplici, e questo non era diverso. Ma avevano uova e tosta, caffè, succo e tè, così sono stato felice. I letti erano comodi e le viste sono grandi. Io consiglio questo hotel! E' anche super pulito.

Questo hotel è noto per il suo giardino e le sue viste, ma altri aspetti lasciano molto da desiderare. Infatti, l'hotel era piuttosto deludente. L'hotel non soddisfa certamente le norme di un hotel boutique, come si descrive. - le camere sono ok, conformabili, ma fondamentali. - PREGIUDIZZO trattamento da parte del personale. Ho sentito una grande differenza di trattamento tra ospiti europei e nordamericani e ospiti latino. Non l'ho mai mai sperimentato in un hotel e l'ho trovato molto seriamente. - Non funziona per lunghi soggiorni o come base per esplorare il Sacro Valley, proprio perché è alla stazione ferroviaria. Il luogo ha un forte odore di combustione di carburante, e c'è TREN NOISE tutto il tempo. Svegliati e dormire al suono di flirt, che è molto caotico e sgradevole. - Ci sono altre opzioni molto migliori in città. - È a circa 10 minuti dal centro, con un salto ragionevole. E si deve aspettare in linee di passeggeri del treno per entrare nel vostro hotel ogni giorno. - IL Colazione è REPETTIVO E Senza varietà. Hotel più semplici nella zona avevano infinitamente migliori caffè. Tuttavia, sembra essere standard per l'hotel, una giacca che altri ospiti hanno lamentato in precedenti recensioni e non è stato fatto nulla, dicendo che miglioreranno le risposte alle recensioni e non è cambiato nulla. - personale professionale, ma impazienti e irritati. Sono resistenti alle semplici richieste. - Ho chiesto al computer al ricevimento di visualizzare un documento personale che può essere acceduto solo tramite computer. Non mi hanno permesso di usarlo, e non c'era nessun altro disponibile per gli ospiti. - Un hotel di questo valore non ha alcuna attrezzatura, solo sapone. Non c'è doccia capsula, umidificatore della pelle, lana di cotone. Non l'ho mai visto in hotel che si classificano come ”buticolo”.

Hotel Luz Garden was great! The staff treated us like family and were very nice! They came by each night to see what time we wanted breakfast and even let us stay in our room a little later so we didn't have to set around town waiting for or train. I will definitely stay here again.

Let me start I was skeptical while booking but when I reached here my stay was fantastic. Location: it is a wonderful location directly on the river and 4 minutes walk from railway station and bus as well as all the restaurants. Service: Christian and Judith provided the best possible service. Breakfast was the best. Free Wifi Internet was good Allowed to keep our luggage after checkout free of charge Overall I would love to stay again here!

There is a lot of choice in Aguas Calientes and I chose the Amakonkay Machu Picchu based on the location in Aguas Calientes and the price compared to other accommodation and it was a great little place to stay for three nights. The location is perfect with shops and restaurants nearby, the bus stop to Machu Picchu at the end of the alleyway and the main square just around the corner. It is a short walk from the train station and the hotel folks are waiting for you with your name on a board. A clean and comfortable room and I had some of the best nights sleep at the hotel while touring Peru. The breakfast was large and tasty with half a huge avocado, ham, cheese, scrambled egg, breads, juice, etc. and while in Peru the breakfasts here were some of the best. The staff were really friendly and helpful and given the location, price , rooms and breakfast this makes for a good base in Aguas Calientes.

Buona scelta per chi vuole trattarsi bene. POSIZIONE Dalla mappa sembrerebbe un po' ai margini del villaggio, in realtà alla fine risulta vicino alla piazza da cui iniziano i vari ristoranti e sulla via dove partono le navette per Machu Picchu. CAMERA Bella camera abbastanza spaziosa con balcone sul retro. In bagno la doccia ha la tenda e le prese sono con ingresso americano (in camera col doppio ingresso europeo e americano). La reception è disponibile a tenere i bagagli per la giornata in attesa del treno di ritorno per Ollantaytambo. COLAZIONE Buona colazione, anche abbastanza varia con alcune torte e elementi dolci. PREZZO Prezzo commisurato alla categoria.
