Such a warm welcome by the 2 guys running the b&b. Lots of humour, Paul’s delicious food, beautiful views, a friendly and cosy evironment made this one of our favourite places in the area. Everything is super to summarize it 😎 rodney the roaster and the 7 labs add to the family feeling and do not at all disturb the guests!

We had the best stay. Paul & Craig are great hosts and made us feel very welcome. Paul is a great Chef and we recommend paying extra for Dinner it was amazing. Breakfast were superb. The location of the property is special so quiet and relaxed. Nothing was too much trouble. Next stay will be for 2 or more nights and can highly recommend a stay here

From the moment you arrive a sense of tranquility comes over you. Paul and Craig are the most wonderful hosts and greet you with a true warmth. The location and views are breathtaking. You can do as much or as little as you want. Great bush walking country all around. But curling up on the daybed out side your room or in the pergola is the best thing…that is until dinner is served!!! Paul provides a fantastic selection for your 2 or 3 course meal. We had dinner both nights we were there and it was amazing. Craig provided simply outstanding service. It’s dog friendly and has an incredibly large dog run. Hillcrest Mountain View Retreat has it all. Don’t think twice - book it now, you won’t be disappointed.

A return trip to this magical location for us, to celebrate my husband’s 70th birthday. Unfortunately we couldn’t get there for our first night due to flooding but made the most of our one day. It’s a photographers paradise, so lush and green. Our room was extremely comfortable with everything we needed. Paul cooked up a storm for our three course meal. Delicious food! Breakfast was also so tasty. Thanks to Paul and Craig for a memorable stay. We’ll be back😊

Lovely part of the country. Beautiful views. Craig and Paul are very friendly and accommodating hosts. Paul culinary skills are above and beyond. Amazing meals and good amount to choose from. Very clean room, comfy bed, cosy library and nice pool in amazing surroundings. Highly recommend this B & B. Thanks for your amazing hospitality.

What fabulous place, beautiful location, quiet country area, we really enjoyed our time. The owners were so friendly and their service was impeccable. You've got to stay here, it's worth it.

The super hosts Paul&Craig made us feel at home. Delicious food service and room. And a magnificent view. Really a place to go back to. Good location, nice places nearby like Murwillumbah. Breakfast&dinner delicious relaxing and very enjoyable

For the second time, we travelled ＞16.000 km to be at Hillcrest 😉. What more is there to say…..For the second time, it was supergezellig. You now know what that means. Loved our stay at Hillcrest Mountain View Retreat. Everything from the warm greeting when we arrived, to the lovely linen, amazing views, delicious breakfast (and lots of choices) and the hospitality of Craig and Paul was faultless. Every detail was covered including taking the time to talk to us about how to spend our day in the area, bubble bath for the spa bath, and then provided space for us to relax and unwind. One of the highlights was the incredible dinner cooked at the retreat. We planned to have dinner only one night but the food was so good we ate there again. Many choices and such tasty, delicious food. Our stay was fantastic and we will return again for sure.
