위치는 산 위에 위치해 있다보니 차량 렌트로 갔을때 운전 난이도는 꽤 있는 편이었습니다. 전망이나 지옥순례길 산책로 잘 되었습니다.
지옥순례 산책로는 편한 신발로 다녀오기 편한 데크로 구성되어있어 걷기 편했으며 이것저것 구경하다 내려오니 시간 여유 갖고 가시면 1시간 가량 여유롭게 보내실수 있습니다.
마을에서는 쇼핑거리는 많이 없으며 오후 5시반 정도에 문닫는 곳이 많으며 술은 사기 어렵습니다. 료칸에서 한잔 하실거면 미리 사가지고 가시길 추천드립니다. 밤 12시까지 하는 이자까야 한군데 있습니다^
오래된 료칸이긴 하나 직원들의 서비스도 좋고 깔끔하게 유지되는거 같았습니다.
저희는 야외 개인탕 있는 곳에 숙박했었는데 성인 2명이면 물 차는 듯한 느낌의 작은 욕조구조였으나 나름 야외라 운치 있는 시간보내기 좋았으며 워너할때마다 개인 온천할수 있어 만족했습니다.
관광할 거리는 많지 않으며 비오는 날 지옥 산책은 더할나위 없는 분위기를 만들어주었습니다.
온천은 매우 만족하여 다음 또 오고싶다는 마음이 많이 남았습니다.
가성비 매우 훌륭합니다. 조식과 가이세키는 평타 이상으로 좋았습니다.

温泉とスタッフ対応のよさは申し分ないが、食事は個人的に満足とは言える内容ではなかった。特に朝ごはんは残念。とはいえ、一般的な旅館の懐石はこんなものかも。

日本の懐かしい温泉旅館を体験する事が出来ます。また、価格もリーズナブルで雲仙の地質学的重要地域（地獄と呼ばれる場所）も隣接しています。You can experience a nostalgic Japanese hot spring inn. Also, the price is reasonable and the geologically important area of Unzen (a place called hell) is next to the door.
