The people working in the hotel are great, they are very friendly and helpful!
The room in general is very clean, but the hotel has many flies flying around, especially during breakfast, there are many flies just lying on the bread and also flying around our food.
Location from the hotel to city center is around 20~30 minutes walk, and there is a bus passing by the hotel every 20~30 minutes as well, for us it is alright, but we need to check the schedule to make sure we don't miss the bus, otherwise we will need to wait another 30 minutes for next bus or just walk to the city center.

This hotel exceeded our expectations. The location is beautiful right in the mountains a little outside the village of Interlaken. The hotel itself is so authentic and the service was outstanding. The staff was extremely friendly, helpful, and accommodating. The restaurant and the spa as part of the hotel were very convenient, and we had incredible experiences at both of them. The food at restaurant was delicious, and the spa was so clean, relaxing, and lovely. The room was also spacious, and had a beautiful view of the spa and garden. The hotel also includes free public transportation, which was a a game changer. The hotel was only minutes away from all the nearest attractions/places. If we ever go back to Interlaken, we will be staying here again.

This hotel was great! The restaurant was delicious and the spa was so relaxing. The thing that made this place amazing were the people that work there. Everyone was very helpful and friendly. One person in particular always went above and beyond to help us and always had a smile on her face and that was Yasamin. She made us feel like family.

Rooms were comfortable with a view that was breathtaking. Staff were extremely friendly and very helpful. Short stroll to bus stop with short ride to train station. We used our stay there for a base camp. Most destinations were accessible by short train ride. If ever I find myself back in Switzerland I will gladly stay at this property again

I don't know why this is not a 4 star hotel instead of 3! Sonja runs an impeccable, darling Swiss hotel with comfy beds, an amazing sauna/spa and the most unforgettable dinner we've ever had! The views of the Alps from here were amazing! We found out that the 5 star hotels in town send their guests to Salzano for their dinner as it is that good. Sonja took time to explain every room of the sauna and how to best use it, even when the hotel was very busy. We needed laundry done and even though they usually need 48 hours in which to do it, she got it done in 36 as we had to leave. Superb EVERYTHING at this hotel - I cannot say enough! Thank you, Sonja and staff!!

Hotel is a bit far from interlaken OST. You need to walk about 5 minutes to the nearest bus stop to go to Interlaken OSt. Takes about 10 to 15 minutes by bus to OST station. There is only 1 bus NO.21 that operates in this route. The lady who checked us in was very efficient and friendly. She provided good information on bus time table and sight seeing. Room was spacious and refurbished with beautiful view of the mountain. Breakfast food was below average for the price. There was only scrambled eggs for hot breakfast. Buffet was very much limited and not much of choice.. Definitely the food needs improvement. Breakfast staff were good. Room was clean. Excellent job by the housekeeping staff.

If you need a place to stay in Interlaken and you are looking for a nice spa, this will do. We wanted a hotel with a nice spa, which this had, however the hotel and rooms were just OK and the restaurant overpriced/underwhelming (recommend skipping it). The hotel and rooms are pretty basic and a little dated, though clean. We stayed in the Squirrel Suite, but as we are tall we used the showers in the spa since the sloped ceiling would have meant stooping over. While easy to get into town using the bus, the other side of the coin is that this hotel is on the main road and the nonstop truck traffic was bad at night. Not a bad stay and it will do if you are prioritizing a spa.

Very nice hotel in quiet surroundings of Interlaken and near the lake side. Room is nice and clean, bathroom is modern and clean and has nice shampoo and shower lotion. Personel is wearing traditional dresses and very friendly and helpful. The hotel has a spa and sauna. Parking is in front of the hotel. Diner at the hotel restaurant is a real recommendation. A lot is home made, from the own garden. Nice atmosphere. Breakfast is just what you need to start the day.
