We can not say enough good things about our stay at this beautiful boutique hotel. The entire staff was welcoming and attentive to details. We arrived at 3:00am and the hotel had prepared some fruit and sandwiches for our arrival. My wife is celiac and the staff did an amazing job ensuring there were food options available for her. They even prepared traditional Sri Lankan food for us to try. The beach club gets very busy during the day but we still felt like the only guests there. This place has a great island vibe with music and different entertainment daily. We will definitely be returning before the end of our trip.

We recently stayed at Angel Beach Resort and overall, the place has a fantastic vibe, especially in the evening — perfect for families, couples, and groups of friends. The location is amazing, right by the beach, and the poolside staff were excellent, offering great service. Breakfast also had a wide range of delicious options, which we really enjoyed. However, our stay was unfortunately affected by several negative experiences that need to be addressed. We booked two deluxe rooms but were given two completely different room types, and the air conditioning in both rooms was not functioning properly. Even after setting the temperature to 17°C, the rooms didn’t cool adequately. We did report this to reception, and they managed to fix it later — which we appreciate — but it should not have been an issue in the first place. When we requested a room change from receptionist Bashitha, despite paying USD 225 for one night, we were offered a standard room as a replacement — which was not acceptable considering what we paid for deluxe rooms. Additionally, the room construction quality is very poor. Even when speaking softly, people in the next room could hear us clearly, including when using the washroom. The worst part of our stay was the way Front Office Manager Dilshan handled a guest complaint. He came to our room and knocked multiple times between 10:30 PM and 11:30 PM, asking us to stop talking, despite us not making excessive noise or playing music. On the third visit, he even brought security and two other staff members, which made us feel extremely uncomfortable — as if we were being treated like troublemakers or prisoners, just for having a normal conversation in our room. I explained to him that we were not singing or shouting, and even invited him to see the room himself. His behavior was not professional, and it made us feel unwelcome and disrespected. He also asked us to come speak to him at the reception the next day ????? This kind of experience is not what you expect from a 4-star resort. I strongly suggest the top management — especially Mr. Nishantha Gamage (General Manager) — look into how the staff is trained to handle guests, particularly in the front office. The property is beautiful and has great potential, but these issues made our stay far less enjoyable than it could have been.

Hi we are a family from Denmark. We have the best week ever on a hotel. And we have do a lot of different places. This is the top 👏👏 from Inside to outside all are in top. All emploiee are so friendly and everything are possible. We will come back. Book this place in paradise. No I am not any influeincer

We spent a very nice week at Angel Beach Club. All the staff is very open, smily, hospitable and ready to help at any time. Everything was on a highest level - clear rooms, tasty food, nice beach, white towels, sun beds, everything.. Room was cleaned twice or triple times per a day and we even did not notice when it was arranged. Towels were changed several times a day. Beach is very beautiful but you have to be very careful with the ocean cause every time strong waves pull you inside. As we were staying there our favorite sun bed was reserved and prepared for us to use every morning. But the best thing in this hotel is food and its chef. As we tried all the dishes from the menu, we were served with the delicious meal at our last dinner. The chef cooked them for us and created the dishes especially for us. Thanks a lot to him for his masterpiece.

I didn't like Angel beach club because of some of the staff. The girl talks in raised tones without understanding the situation. After I explained that they were wrong, I left without even apologizing. I hope the management will take action, as they have ruined the mood with their rudeness. Pillows, towels and sun beds are old and dirty. The food is normal
