該酒店特殊是安靜，所在地看着像是蘋果之鄉，家家户户都有蘋果樹，酒店後院就在峽灣邊上。非常適合在這悠閑度假幾天。空氣很好。

非常漂亮的歷史酒店，前庭花園也非常美麗，房間內部比較簡單，從陽台上可以看到峽灣和美麗的湖景，總體比較滿意。

Hotel storico in posizione fantastica, in fondo ad un fiordo. Spazi esterni e aree comuni molto belli, con viste spettacolari. Le camere sono molto basic (avevamo una camera con balcone vista fiordo, quindi in teoria la categoria migliore) ma il bagno era imbarazzante per un hotel 4 stelle, vecchio e mal funzionante (l’acqua del lavabo non andava giù e non sono riusciti a risolverlo). Sono stati gentili nel proporre un cambio stanza ma le alternative erano peggiori quindi siamo rimasti nella nostra camera. Tutto sommato l’hotel è comunque la soluzione migliore a Ulvik e la vista compensa la camera. Colazione: standard, senza infamia e senza lode. Caffè e the disponibili gratuitamente 24h.

La posizione e la vista sono spettacolari (i 3 pallini sono SOLO per questo). La colazione é buona e varia. Per il resto .... scadentissimo, non lo considero assolutamente un 4 stelle. La camera é vecchissima e l’arredamento tremendo ... sicuramente troverete di meglio in giro, anche se con vista peggiore a voi la scelta. Io non ci torno più!

Abbiamo pernottato a luglio 2022 in questo albergo. Visto dall'esterno, nonostante i suoi 162 anni la struttura si presenta bene, bel giardino curato. La camera purtroppo non rispecchia la prima impressione. Pur catalogato come un 4 stelle, le camere sono modeste, la nostra era la numero 434, non disponeva di asciugacapelli ed il letto era posizionato sotto il tetto a falda. Era impossibile poter stare seduti, inoltre vi era un continuo odore di cucina che entrava dalla ventilazione. Trattandosi di una vecchia struttura con pavimenti in legno era facile sentire i rumori. Abbiamo cenato in albergo, ma la carta offriva una scarsa scelta di piatti e nessuno preposto per chi soffre di allergie. La colazione é modesta, avendo soggiornato in altri alberghi prima di questo la scelta offerta per la colazione era inferiore rispetto a tutte le altre strutture.

I am reading reviews saying, the view isn't enough....... and do you know what, it was for us! What a spot!!!! We splashed out on a suite with a fjord view as there were 3 of us travelling; myself, my husband + my daughter of 24 years. When we stepped out onto the balcony we were blown away. We planned on walking during our stay and the walks available off the doorstep are amazing too. We stayed 2 nights + were very lucky with the weather + so were able to swim in the fjord. The sauna looking out over the fjord was on my list of things to do + it did not disappoint. All of the staff we interacted with were friendly, helpful + quite lovely. Breakfast choices were perfect + I really enjoyed the food in the evening. Only slight negative here was that we had paid for a room with dinner included + so had a set menu, which had soup, then a choice of 2 mains + 2 puddings. However, the choice was exactly the same both nights + I feel like there should have been a change of options. The grounds at the front of the hotel offer various areas to sit + enjoy the view; there are sunbeds which we did use given our luck with the weather; internally there are so many nooks and crannies with fabulous rooms to sit in in large groups or smaller intimate ones. We stayed in 5 different locations on our trip to Norway + they all could have done with a bit of TLC but I honestly do not know how you could stay in a location like this and not beam from ear to ear. LOVED IT!!!

We stayed here as part of a tour group. The views are incredible & there are plenty of areas around the property to view them. It is also a perfect location for swimming in the fjord with a nice beach area in front of the hotel. I found the hotel itself clean but dated. Our room looked into the carpark & was clean with a shower over the bath. The rooms really could do with some updates to make it a bit more modern. I found the breakfast a bit lacking with regards to hot food & didn't eat there for dinner. Ulvik itself is beautiful yet small, with just a local cafe & a supermarket if needed.

Good hotel on shoreline of beautiful fjord in picturesque Ulvik. We stayed one night as part of our trip through the fjords. Room was clean, good size and well appointed. Dinner and included breakfast were good. Fabulous views. Found a cider tasting location nearby to try excellent local ciders.

One night as a group attendant. The only valuable in this hotel is the view. Although the tourist season is low and the hotel almost empty, they gave us rooms with parking view, demanding extra 65€ for changing room! Room facilities very poor. Breakfast bellow average (croissant, bacon...not today the staff said). View can not overcome this passeé hotel package. Choose something better.

The Brakanes Hotel in Ulvik is well past its days as a peaceful, luxury hotel. They seem to now cater to large tour bus groups, making it crowded, noisy, and unfriendly. Since they allow smoking on the balconies, the rooms themselves smell of smoke. The morning breakfast buffet was by far the worst we experienced in two weeks of touring Norway. The staff was frazzled by the large tour groups, and unlike most other places we stayed in the beautiful country of Norway, they never smiled or greeted the guests. Very overpriced for what you get.

Just returned from a Globus tour where we stayed at this hotel on Wed the 10th of July.Great view, great food but came away with a nasty case of bed bug bites, room 321. Very painful and itchy. The small surrounding town was lovely and the surrounding area and Fjord was breathtaking.

Very limited food options for children. Including an inability to order any food between at least 17.00 and 18.30 as the kitchen is too busy prepping to make chicken nuggets…..the advice given at reception “there’s a supermarket:…” The pool is small, run down and very cold. The rooms are tired The outside space and views of the stunning - but that’s not enough to make up for poor service and a high cost.

Back at Brakanes for a few summer days . The scenery from the hotel that is on the edge of the majestic Hardanger Fjord is like a ever changing painting Wonderful dishes in the restaurant based on local supplies and sparkling Wine from the Apple farms that slopes down the green mountain sides My happy place in Norway ❤️
