Hotel Atharva,Ujjain

Good Hotel with nice hospitality. Food is best. Manager Hatim Tai has a nice approach towards guests.

Staff was helping and property was nice.safe place for solo travelers. Food is also good and under budget. I must recommend this place if any of women is travelling and staying alone.

Hotel atharva is the worst hotel. They charge you heftily and don't provide the services and hospitality. Rooms are furnished with old furniture. Taps, showers are fully junked and jammed . In the season of winter they promise you to provide hot water but at the end they will make you to Bath in cold water. food is stale after eating dalfry and roti. My family members suffered from food poisoning more over fnb manager behavior was worst @11th hour he shouted on us ki koi khana nahin milenga aap log jao jabki sabhi log baith k khana kha rahe the waha dine in mei. Aur raat ko jo khana diya it made us suffer. We checked in around 11:40 in midnight and when we checked out next day around 11 am and asked for concession against all the odd the front office person hatim spoke to us very rudely and said pay the payment of 8000 rupees or else I won't let you go. After all the suffering they harassed us and forcefully made us to pay for the wrong things and the services that they don't provide . We stayed only for 11 hours still they couldn't provide any service moreover all the rooms are very noisy you can't sleep at all. Don't ever Go It's like aa bail mujhe maar Waha k pani mei machar gira rehta hai they serve that.

Room was dusty , bed small and mattress was not good Guest should beware of people at front desk to help you they will order auto but it will charge you extra money from normal charges there is a auto stand out of hotel which you can take. I was almost forced by reception guys and security guard to scam you they will try to find your itinerary Food was good

Its totally rundown property. Not maintained at all. Window glasses were full of stains of water marks from outside. Cockroaches found in the bathroom. Taps were dirty with scale stains. Cardkey was dirty. Doorbell of adjoining room is heard in your room. Not located in the prime area where most good hotels are. They are more interested in wedding & marriage group clients. So better confirm for the same before booking. Very limited menu for breakfast as compared to other hotels charging same tariff. Overall its good for INR 2.5K per night not more.

We had family tour to ujjain and based on rating choose atharwa for stay. Everything was good except front reception desk. Staff at from desk was rude and not friendly with guests requirement. They worked on their assumption, which is very disheartening and not acceptable. As per our checkout was at 12pm but reception desk told us to check out by 10:30 due to wedding ceremony planned there. How unfair it is, i have fully paid still they partial in treating guest. I will not recommend to stay at atharva to anybody.
