Questo hotel è di bilancio e di base ma assolutamente perfetto per un paio di giorni di visita ad Amsterdam. Ci siamo molto lieti di uscire dal treno da Schiphol via Sloterdijk e trovare l'hotel è stato a 2-3 minuti a piedi dalla stazione. Zaandam è anche un bel posto con molti negozi, caffè e bar. Non abbiamo esplorato oltre la strada principale, ma ho anche detto che il tour della ventola non è lontano a Zaanse-Schans. La struttura è molto amichevole, la macchina caffè nel lobby è costretta a €1.50 per un cappuccino. Non ci sono strutture per colazione, ma molti caffè a piedi. anche un grande supermercato lungo la strada. La camera è piccola ma pulita con una buona vista sull'ambiente circostante. La doccia non sarebbe fuori luogo in un hotel 5 stelle, era brillante. 10 minuti sul treno per Amsterdam Centrale e i treni correvano da circa 6 a 1am ogni 15 minuti.

Let me start on a positive note, for it would be a disservice to neglect the shining beacon of hope that was the reception. The customer service there was an oasis amidst the barren desert of disappointment. The receptionists, with their unwavering smiles and polite demeanor, almost made me forget that I was entering the twilight zone. But alas, once I ventured beyond the cheery reception area, reality took a nosedive. The corridors seemed to have been designed by a maze-loving architect who had a grudge against sanity. The room itself was a fascinating blend of outdated decor and questionable cleanliness. It felt like a time capsule from the '80s, with carpets that had seen more travelers than Amsterdam's canals have seen bicycles. The beds were, well, a mystery. Sleeping on a mattress so soft is like cuddling with a marshmallow that refuses to let go in the morning! As night fell, I settled in for what I hoped would be a peaceful slumber. Oh, how wrong I was! The thin walls turned my neighbors' conversations into an impromptu symphony of sleeplessness. It felt like I had a front-row seat to an Amsterdam-themed episode of ”The Jerry Springer Show.” And let's not forget the unique amenities this hotel offers! Apparently, the New West Inn prides itself on a state-of-the-art plumbing system that faithfully mimics the soothing sounds of a waterfall. I half-expected to find a misplaced Amazonian jungle behind the bathroom door. To sum it all up, my stay at the New West Inn Hotel was a twisted adventure that will be etched in my memory forever. This was a journey of endurance I never signed up for. But let it be known, in this tale of woe, the receptionists shone like diamonds in the rough. Their impeccable customer service provided a glimmer of hope in an otherwise surreal experience. As for the New West Inn Hotel, it shall forever hold the title of ”Amsterdam's Weirdest Adventure,” a dubious honor that only the brave dare to undertake. Proceed at your own risk, fellow travelers, and may the odds be ever in your favor!

Abbiamo alloggiato in questo Hotel dal 31 agosto al 2 settembre io, il mio fidanzato e un nostro amico. Abbiamo preso due camere matrimoniali, piccole ma davvero perfette, molto pulite e accoglienti. In questa zona si è molto vicini alla zona dei mulini a vento che vale davvero la pena vedere. Colazione a buffet noi abbiamo pagato 9€ a persona ma era davvero ben fornita e personalmente anche molto gradita. A pochi minuti di camminata si trova la fermata per andare sia verso Amsterdam Centro (la si raggiunge tranquillamente con una ventina di minuti circa di bus) e verso la zona dei mulini, in hotel si ha anche la possibilità di poter comprare la carta con la quale puoi girare su tutti i mezzi pubblici (che a mio parere conviene molto perché c’è un servizio di mezzi pubblici a dir poco eccezionale e puntualissimi al secondo). Lo staff molto cordiale e sempre sorridenti, la struttura in generale l’ho trovata molto bella e molto pulita. Ci siamo trovati davvero benissimo e secondo me è sottovalutata questa struttura e merita molta più visibilità di quella che ha. È stata davvero una scoperta inaspettata è molto gradita e bella.

Posso recensire solo il ristorante dove abbiamo pranzato dopo la visita a Zaanse Schans. Struttura bellissima, terrazza con vista canale e mulini. Anche l’hotel deve essere meraviglioso. Il menù non è molto ricco ma le bitterballen sono buone. Il personale è veloce ma non attentissimo. Avevamo richiesto una porzione di bitterballen vegana e una standard e ne hanno portate due senza sapere quale fosse quella vegana. La cameriera è entrata a chiedere ma poi si è dimenticata più volte di noi, anche dopo più solleciti. Alla fine le bitterballen erano fredde, le ha portate via entrambe e riportate separando quelle vegane da quelle non vegane.

abbiamo soggiornato 6 notti in camera (non sul lato dell'autostrada). Materasso molto grande e dimensioni della camera con un frigorifero di dimensioni adeguate dove abbiamo conservato il cibo. Il personale è per me la più grande risorsa di questo hotel. Cordiale, disponibile e super professionale. La camera veniva pulita quotidianamente. Puoi lasciare la borsa in hotel se pianifichi un viaggio altrove e torni a dormire in hotel. Grande balcone per fumatori con abbastanza

Abbiamo avuto un soggiorno 3-day/2-night a Haarlem. Siamo stati consigliati a Haarlem invece di Amsterdam da un amico e questo non avrebbe potuto essere una scelta migliore. La città era bella con i suoi caffè, negozi e ristoranti. L'hotel era un 12 su 10! Ottima posizione nella città di Haarlem, 10 minuti a piedi da autobus o stazione ferroviaria. Ci siamo chiesti una stanza dal piano superiore, più tranquillo. Abbiamo una bella stanza dal piano superiore. Sì, abbiamo sentito le campane della chiesa, ma non importava. La stanza era pulita, aveva una finestra luminosa e una piccola finestra aperta. Spazioso, buoni letti e bella bagno con un tubo. Le scale che portavano all'hotel così bella non ho mai visto. Il colazione era perfetta. Ampiamente selezionato, tranquillo, e in generale bellissimo spazio con arte in ogni parte delle pareti.

Possiamo solo consigliare un ottimo hotel 👍 Le camere sono molto spaziose e pulite, tutti sono molto gentili e disponibili. Collegamento ferroviario per Amsterdam City a soli 5 minuti dall'hotel? Saluti dal Sauerland 🤗

Beautifua con il personale più cordiale e il cibo divino. Tutto ciò che abbiamo avuto durante il nostro soggiorno di 3 giorni è stato fantastico e si sono assicurati che fossimo a nostro agio e felici.

Wonderful hotel! Comfortable, good bed, nice bathroom. Even space is small, i didn’t feel that. Room was Very compact with wonderful sea view and Terras. It was very quiet area, we had nice breakfast and very friendly helpful staff. Also free coffee, Thee and sweats at lounge!! We liked everything!!
