Raffles Udaipur

my family spent a week at the Raffles Udaipur during Diwali this year, and the experience exceeded our expectations! First let get the one slightly underwhelming aspect out of the way: The architecture was not as inspiring as I had hoped. The building materials, colours and art used are a bit bland. The surrounding lake is not used to its potential and is not visible from most common areas. Now for everything that was Excellent! 1) The Food: Executive Chef Avijit Deb Sharma is a true master! Everything we tried was exceptional! We were informed that all food is always made fresh and that shows. Two dishes that I had for the first time and are must tries are the watermelon sabzi and the hari ghass ki roti which incorporates wheat grass. 2) Child Friendliness: There is a lot of place for kids to run around and a very well sized kids playing area. The kids playing area also has board games and books for adults so they don’t get bored while baby sitting. The staff is also very cooperative and loving to your children. 3) The staff: Apart from a couple of junior staff everyone was 10/10! I don’t know how they do such great hiring! I must mention Vishal and Abhijit at the bar and Rinku during breakfast who always welcomed us with the warmest hospitality. But over and above all was Nikita Vaish who took care of us. Her service and warmth is enough to single handedly add 1-2 stars to any property! I have never seen someone so hard working, warm who went over and above what was asked of her every single time. My 3 year old still asks for her days after we have left the property! What a star!

Our stay at Raffles was an unforgettable trip of a lifetime! The grounds were stunning, and each venue and event was better than the last the food was exceptional and the entire resort clean and luxurious. We traveled with our mother and 3 children ages 10,8, and 6 for a wedding and our butler, Saquib, was attentive to all our needs. He was an integral part of our experience at Raffles. Though his primary responsibility was our mother, Saquib easily saw that he could best care for her by also caring for us. I have a Gluten allergy and at each meal, Saquib was with me, pointing out what I could and could not eat, making suggestions and serving me from the buffet. Our children were not as adventurous, so he ensured they also had foods at each meal that they would enjoy, as did Ansh. We nearly missed a family photo for the wedding, and Saquib woke in the middle of the night to run and get our children to the appropriate place across the other side of the resort. He knew our schedule better than we did, and helped to ease our culture shock by answering our numerous questions. As our children enjoyed the amenities with their grandmother, Saquib went with them and took photos and videos of the children and then shared them with us so the kids can more easily remember their experiences as time passes. On several occasions we lost keys or set down our belongings, Saquib was quick to grab them and manage them. As our hands were full at various wedding events, he collected the things we no longer needed and returned them to our quarters so our hands were feee to enjoy the moments of the incredible events. He cared so well for our family that we all were sad to say goodbye, and there may have been tears as he waved good bye to us all from the ferry dock. Extremely professional, poised, knowledgeable and most importantly kind, Saquib is an asset to the staff at Raffles Udaipur.

Amazing experience! Great hospitality team! Preeti took exceptional care regarding our transportation needs. Lifeguard Ramgopal provided me assistance and boosted my confidence while swimming in the pool. Overall stay at Raffles Udaipur is memorable.

Our stay in Hotel Raffles in Udaipur was absolutely incredible the way they welcomed us with flower petals and a refreshing drink was so wonderful. From the minute we stepped foot in the hotel all our needs and request were taken care of promptly the staff here is too warm, kind and accommodating The food here is scrumptious, the ambiance adds on to the experience the resort elegantly weaves European cultural references with Rajasthan’s royal heritage and elements of Mughal architecture. The cleanliness and hygiene were top-notch, and the service was prompt and efficient. Plus, all the staff members were incredibly friendly and made one feel right at home. Oh, and let's not forget about the amazing drinks at Writers Bar and the delicious food at Patisserie. I would like to add few names who made this whole experience very comfortable and memorable (kartik Bhatt, Gaurav Kumar, Rinku, Mukesh, Aanand) It sounds like an unforgettable experience overal. I would highly recommend this hotel.

The view was so pretty. Everything was well managed. Hotel staff is very polite and always approachable. I would love to come here once again to chill. Sandeep was Lovely to chill with in the activity area. Patisserie staff were very sweet and always full of energy.

Our recent stay at Raffles in Udaipur was nothing short of extraordinary. We were a family of 4 my wife, our 2-year-old daughter & 3 monthold daughter, and myself—visiting to celebrate my wife’s birthday. From the moment we arrived, we felt the warmth and hospitality that Raffles is renowned for. The experience began with a delightful welcome at the jetty, where we were served refreshing coffee and lemon juice before embarking on a serene boat ride to the hotel. Upon arrival Khushboo assisted with our check in ensuring a seamless start to our stay. Our room was immaculate, thanks to Sajan, who led the room cleaning team, and Abhishek Singh, who made sure everything was perfect . Our 2-year-old daughter was particularly pleased with the delicious food throughout our stay, a testament to the culinary team’s dedication. Thanks to Chef Praveen Reddy. Dining was a highlight of our visit. At the Long Bar, Gautam Vyas recommended and served some of the best Pan-Asian dishes we have ever tasted. Chef Bala from Sawai took great care of us during dinner, and Mukesh Thakur, leading the restaurant, was exceptionally helpful. Breakfasts were a treat with Chef Laxmikant going above and beyond to serve us delightful dishes, even off the menu. Rahul and Shivam from the dining room ensured our breakfasts were comfortable and enjoyable. While a few things didn’t go as planned, the team at Raffles truly knows how to turn things around. Special thanks to Mr. Sahil at the front desk, whose exceptional service made our stay even better than we anticipated . His expertise and dedication to ensuring our satisfaction were remarkable. We also had the pleasure of meeting the Head of Operations Miss Manali Gupta and it was clear that the team she leads is top notch. Finally, our checkout was smooth and efficient thanks to Lavanya from the front desk who escorted us to our car—a gesture that we truly appreciate. Overall, Raffles Udaipur provided us with an unforgettable experience, and we left with cherished memories. We look forward to returning in the future.
