Our Place: A-Frame

Our Place was thoughtfully renovated to deliver a warm experience for you & your loved ones, in the cozy SoCal mountain town of Twin Peaks. This 60's A-Frame Cabin is up one flight of stairs from the driveway and has one enclosed bedroom and a loft with amazing wildlife views, and AC/heat! Relax in this expansive property as you lay on the hammock gazing up at sky, BBQ on the deck, play cards by the fire to reconnect. You're minutes away from food, fun, and endless activities at Lake Arrowhead! You’ll feel completely transported the moment you walk in our door. Our cozy and renovated cabin is fully furnished and designed perfectly for all your needs. You will find a welcoming bedroom on the first floor with a queen sized bed, and an oversized loft upstairs with a king sized bed as well as a Pack N Play crib for your convenience for little ones on your trip. We also have high-speed internet perfect for your "work from home" needs. This is the perfect little getaway! Outside: Sit outside in the morning with your cup of coffee either of our two patio decks. The backyard has plenty of room for activities, playhouse for the kids, or gather around the gas-fueled fire pit. The front patio has a dining table & seating for everyone! The views are amazing and the perfect backdrop to your mountain retreat. After you’ve returned from your day-time activities, take a break on our hammock and start up the bbq for a night of grilling and fun! ** There is central heat in this rental. Guests are also permitted to use the wood burning fireplace ** It may snow during your stay and we will try our best to clear a path with local maintenance services. The steps to access the rental are steep and can be slick at times. We will use snow salt as frequently as possible. If roads are open and you can't make it to the rental no refunds will be issued. This is a beautiful mountain home and you need to be able bodied to access when there is adverse weather. There are no parties or events allowed at the rental. Maximum occupancy is 4 guests. If you have special requests please reach out and we will try our best to accommodate. No pets allowed. Perfect opportunity for your family member who's been wanting to snuggle with them and baby-sit for a few days! If house rules are broken we reserve the right to withhold your security deposit and/or cancel your reservation. CHILD PROOFING: Guest understands that no special efforts have been made to “childproof” this house, and accept the risk or harm to any children/infants we allow on the property. TRAVEL INSURANCE/CANCELLATIONS We HIGHLY recommend buying travel insurance through your airline company, car rental company, or a travel insurance website. We cannot provide a refund for anything that falls outside of our cancellation policy and the dates that correspond with the policy. This includes date change requests as they are considered the same as cancellations (if the new requested check-in date is a later date than your original check-in date). We cannot provide a refund due to travel related issues or Covid, Please review your cancellation policy if you haven't already. This can be found under your reservation, directly through our listing, or through the website that you booked. In most cases (but not all), you have a minimum of 48 hours to cancel your reservation to receive a full refund. Many reservations may have a longer period for a full refund. Last minute bookings are typically non-refundable. Co-host live in the neighborhood and may be available for emergency needs. We value hospitality and strive for a 5-star experience ———————————————- To get here by car, snow tires are recommended in the winter. AWD is recommended year round and 4WD is recommended November-March. We find the drive relatively easy for the elevation we are located at. However, this is subjective to each individuals experience with the climate and natural elements. Our drive-way is steep and because of this, we do recommend 4WD and snow tires. We do provide snow removal in the winter months and do our very best to maintain it but with unpredictable high winds throughout the year, snow drifts are common. We cannot guarantee the drive-way will be completely cleared prior to your arrival. Please come prepared. Please do not hesitate to reach out with any questions or concerns before booking. The driveway is steep and quite narrow.
