Love the views from the hotel balcony and the pools were great! This was my 3rd time staying here and it’s never disappointed me.

My stay was fantastic! The only reason it did not get five out of five is they were doing renovation and I did not have access to the fitness center. The staff was extremely nice. The hotel was clean. My linens and towels were white and soft and fresh. James from Engineering was very helpful. Sawyer at the front desk was extremely nice and helpful as well as the assistant general manager Jason.

Love love love this hotel! The renovations are amazing. The rooms are very modern and spacious. I love the restaurant and when I choose to stay in, the room service provides allot of different options and the food is delicious. The staff and the night manager are fantastic- very accommodating and kind.

My daughter and I went for a fun day. The updates are great! The beds are so comfortable and everything was so clean. Room service from Swamper’s was amazing. All employees were very friendly. Pool was very clean and inviting. So relaxing….❤️

I have been staying in this hotel since the first month it opened in the summer of 2005. While I don’t get the opportunity to return as often as I’d like anymore this was my second stay in two years. While the hotel is still under mild construction for a rebrand, it was still an excellent stay. From the check in, to the newly renovated room which was virtually spotless. The bed and pillows were comfortable with a large bathroom and a beautiful balcony. I would have liked if management opted for a vinyl floor instead of carpet, but for now it’s clean and looking good. Dinner and drinks at the Swampers was excellent, as was breakfast. As shown in my other reviews my standards are pretty high but there is nothing I can fault here, just an awesome Marriott. The only thing that would have made my stay better would have been the suite upgrade I received last time as an elite Bonvoy member. Maybe next time.

We were looking forward to sitting poolside after a full day of site seeing and therefore vey upset to find it under construction! The woman at the front desk gave us a rapid explanation of what our dining options were, but never mentioned the closed pool. We had booked on line and there was no mention of the construction or pool closure. The man working in the coffee shop speculated you would know if you called to book a room ,but who does that these days? On our way out of town we heard an ad for hotel and prompting their pool for Memorial Day. Based on the photo I took I can’t imagine all the work being completed by then, so call ahead !!

Our stay was calm and pleasant. The hotel and site are beautiful. Our only disappointment was the “river” view for which we were charged an additional $50. While we could see the river from the right side of the deck, the actual view from our room was a pool construction site.

What unpleasant surprise to find out that the restaurant and bar area is closed for renovation. Shouldn’t be nice to disclose that during or before making a reservation. Paying full price for stay and having a partial service is unethical. Even during check-in we were not told right away. We have to ask about “Swampers” to find out that is closed and that we have to eat in temporary restaurant setup in hallway. We are regulars for more than four years and “Concierge Lounge” never reopened. What a strange decision by Management. This hotel doesn’t reflect the Marriott brand in the best way. Sorry to say and write this review because some servers we recognized are wonderful. This year for Front Desk employees not so.
