Northwoods Best Inn -Turtle Lake

The only thing we think could have been improved on was lights in the pool, but we understand why. They were really understanding and willing to keep and an eye out in the event our niece and nephew got out of the room without us as they have autism and she has a tracker.

I bought 2rooms. Jacob was @the front desk(so he told my brother his name was). I thought we were good-got in @7for check in, bought a pizza-I spent most of the night w/my kids in the pool that closes@11p. He let us know @11p it was closing-I said "Oh you're so sweet,thank you."-"You can find another hotel-You don't need to stay here" is what I received - please watch your cameras! I was thankful it was closing time- I'm trying to wear out kids &I'm not paying attention to the time. I was genuine & he was a abrasive when our other exchanges were pleasant, I don't understand the hostility. My brother then went out for a cigarette & "Jacob" then complained to another employee coming in for the night shift that "he(my brother)" wasn't allowed there-thay he had to find another hotel". My brother tried explaining that we were in no way giving any attitude & was genuinely thanking him for letting us know the pool was closing & didn't understand where he thought we weren't welcome. My brother just went outside to smoke his cigarette & then came back to his room (I had a room & he had a room). Mind you this is only 11:30p now - but this is unacceptable behavior & I do not understand where it is coming from. We have come here plenty of times & have never had any issues - obviously something is misunderstood somewhere.

We always stay here when in the area. Staff is pleasant and welcoming. Rooms are clean, hot tub is fabulous!

Hotel is outdated. Bathroom was clean though. Beds were soso. Better than staying across the street at ****** hotel though. Staff was very friendly. Shuttle to ****** is nice.

This hotel is a terrific value! The amenities are great. It has comfortable, quiet rooms featuring great beds, a pool and a spa, and remarkable breakfast all for a reasonable price! I'll visit again!

The property is very clean. It has new beds and I had new furniture and a new tv in my suite. The pool area is very nice too. Breakfast in the morning was average.

The hotel was clean and quiet. The breakfast was great and the staff was very friendly on check-in and check-out.

The rooms are very spacious, the beds are very comfortable and they put 4 pillows on the bed! Very clean everywhere! They have a continental breakfast, but I didn't eat anything because I wasn't hungry, so I can't tell you about that! The hot tub was actually hot and very relaxing! I love this place! My family and I will stay here again! Also McDonald's is next door too!

It was quite clean and neat with a nice pool and hot tub available and a solid breakfast. The street lights are a bit bright but the curtains are thick. It was quiet at night.
