Very happy with our stay, extremely clean room. Staff went above and beyond for us. We are so happy with the service we got that we will definitely stay here again. Painted defined parking bays outside the rooms may help as we always had someone elses car parked outside our room but that would be our only complaint.

The Elms Motel was well located 1 block from main shopping centre, hotels, cafe's & supermarket. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the rooms were very clean, bed was comfy. Would definately stay there again.

Mi sono salutato da Raj (Rajeep), che è il manager. Super bel ragazzo e molto accogliente. Abbiamo avuto un bel chat che mi ha fatto sentire come se non fossi solo un altro cliente. Sembra come il tipo di persona che andrà sopra e oltre per assicurarti di avere un grande soggiorno. Le camere sono pulite e ben arredate. È un po 'di moda vecchia, ma che si adatta bene dando una vibrazione amica del motel rurale. A volte è davvero bello tornare da super moderno e godere di semplicità. Mi piace che non usino quelle coperte di doona di stile motel grosso come i letti sono fatti con lama bianca. E 'pacifico e tranquillo e ha una piscina molto bello. Totale 5 stelle per il servizio, prezzo e pulizia delle camere. Grazie Raj e il personale.

Harriet House is a refurbished mission style hotel towards the lower end of the main st in Tumut. Rooms have recently been renovated and overlook a grassy area with pool out the back. The views of the valley and surrounds are a cheeky little reminder that you're in the foothills of the Snowy Mountains. Rooms are very comfortable, clean, and each room has been tastefully decorated in a quirky way. A few little things that I have appreciated are; lights in stairwells are motion detected, recycling bins are provided, 'who gives a crap' toilet paper is used and they are prepped for the icy mornings with bucket and scrapers for car windscreens. There's plenty of parking but it is a short walk to the main st if you're looking for a bite to eat or a bev. Below the accommodation lies Tumut's best kept secret, a little cafe called Two Tarts which dead set has the best cinnamon buns you have ever tasted! Also an array of other delectables if that's not your cup of tea.

Siamo stati in un luogo e un paesaggio meravigliosi, abbiamo fatto un pasto di domenica come abbiamo fatto l'inverno scorso. Ieri era un po' deludente, perché la carne di barbabietola era troppo cotta e il pudding Yorkshire non era disponibile perché la miscela non aveva funzionato. Non sono sicuro che mi piaccia la cavolo rosso con una barbabietola, ma le patate e le altre verdure erano carine. Il personale è molto piacevole e sedersi vicino al fuoco è magnifico.. è un ristorante classico. Preparatevi a pagare $30 per un bicchiere di vino di 250 miglia.. la guida attraverso le belle montagne rullanti vale bene.

This motel boasts that is it the best in Tumut. From the outside it appears to be far from it. It has no street presence, the gardens and grounds are unkempt and while the rooms have clearly been refurbished recently, it was cheaply done and has been poorly maintained so the room already looked shabby. Daily cleaning consisted of making the bed, not even the bathroom floor got mopped. After 2 years of slow business due to COVID, I can't believe that everybody's property isn't at least clean and tidy. Simple cleaning and gardening doesn't cost much and to arrive at a property like this is not welcoming especially when check in and check out done remotely. We didn't see a staff member for the whole of our 2 day stay.

The first things we noticed about our room at the Oriental Hotel were the earplugs on the bath-towels on the bed (where in other hotels you might get a cake of soap). All a bit alarming, and is was very noisy from say 5 to 6pm with lots of logging trucks rumbling past in the street outside. But after that it was quiet - we had no need for the earplugs at all. Overall, we thought the hotel very good, though were disappointed with the wifi reception in our room (it was better in the bar downstairs). We had seen reviews that commented on the excellent wifi that sold us on the place but when we got there it was a different story, with the woman who checked us in saying it could be 'hit and miss'. It was more miss than hit on our visit. On the plus side, the room was relatively spacious for an older style hotel, the bed comfortable and the shared bathrooms spotlessly clean. The tariff was reasonable and, downstairs in the pub, there is an excellent, highly rated restaurant (another reason we stayed here) and a pleasant bar area. The wide balcony outside the room was also excellent, but definitely not between 5 and 6pm for the reasons stated before.
