This hotel is not only very well located, it also has a cozy atmosphere that makes you feel at home. Rooms have very comfy beds and pillows so you'll get a great quality of sleep here. The service is excellent, in both the bar and the restaurant. We enjoyed the Christmas decorations and the common areas, this is a hotel with soul and personalit. We walked from here to the Christmas market and multiple museums. The only point that needs improvement is the breakfast, the coffee was average, limited bread selection and no pancakes or waffles, I have been to cheaper hotels with better breakfast. Parking is conveniently located and decently priced. We celebrated our wedding anniversary here and the overall experience was great so we definitely will back to this hotel as we want to use the spa next time.

Stayed for one night for business. I wasn’t expecting much for an Ibis Styles, however I must admit, it was a pretty good stay. Location is excellent right in the heart of Trier and some great cafes close by etc. Rooms are spacious, clean and simple, nothing fancy but thats their vibe. I feel they have been recently renovated as they were in a great condition. Comfortable beds, pillows were a but lumpy and lack lust… could do with newer firmer ones or at least a choice of a firm and soft on the beds. Had access to an Iron and Ironing board delivered by house keeping and good lighting etc. the only let down as it got quite warm and the AC doesn’t work, luckily it was only about 18° outside otherwise it wouldn’t be pleasant and there was a noisy generator noise outside the windows so you couldn’t sleep with them open (which you couldn’t really hear closed). Staff here pleasant and breakfast was included. A colleague stayed at the Best Western and visiting him there, the Ibis was defiantly the better choice. I would stay here again on my next visit.

We booked a komfort room. Was very clean and with simple modern furnishing. It was quiet and the air con worked well which is needed in the heat of August. Slightly annoying that it beeped and flashed when the hotel set timer switched it off automatically after a set period. We weren’t expecting this and it woke us up with a start in the middle of the night. Unfortunately the garage on site was not able to fit our high car as the hotel has limited parking with high head space. We found a parking nearby in a pay and display place, so not a huge problem. We didn’t eat breakfast in hotel which was probably a mistake as we found the local (nearby hotel) cafes to be not particularly appetising, maybe we just picked the wrong ones. However we did find a great restaurant in walking distance called La Kramerei. You need to book, at least in August. I can recommend the hotel.

Sadly, we were not entirely happy with our stay. The reception staff is friendly and helpful, but we had a few mishaps during check-in, and even received the key to a wrong (and occupied!) room. Our 'final' room was OK but: it was not very clean, with some black hairs in our bathtub that were never cleared by staff over the course of the next 3 days. One day our room was not even cleaned at all. There was no safe, or minibar. More importantly, the airconditioning did not work at all: as it was during a heatwave and we booked Vienna House mainly for the airco, this was extremely frustrating. Finally, while 2 of 3 breakfasts were pleasant, our final breakfast was a bit of a disaster: there was hardly any food and clearly not enough personnel. Every guest in the room seemed flabbergasted by the empty displays. All in all, I'm sure not everyone will have the above experience, and the hotel has a lot of potential. We've nothing against the staff. But in the end it just didn't feel like a 4* experience.

La stanza era molto pulita, il letto era confortevole, il colazione era eccellente (molte scelte, tutto fresco, roba molto gentile/supportabile).La posizione non può essere migliore - solo pochi metri verso la strada principale (anche il mercato di Natale). Parcheggio possibile su due piani sotterranei - ci sono stati molti posti disponibili indipendentemente, c'è una casa piena. Ci ritorneremo in futuro, e questo posto è molto consigliato per tutti!

A nice little stay here for one night on business. The hotel is a little bit out of the way of the city, it would be about €25 each way in a cab to get there or there is a bus stop outside the hotel which can get you there in around 45mins and the help reception staff tell you how. Public transport is also free which is fantastic. The room was spacious, clean, comfortable and had a nice design. I had a really comfortable sleep and the room was quiet. The room also had AC. It did lack amenities in the bathroom like cotton buds etc. but it had Rituals shower gel/ hand wash which was lovely as we have the same one at home so a nice touch. I was surprised the room didn’t have an iron and ironing board, I had to ask reception and carry to my room. The phone also didn’t work in the room to contact reception which was a little frustrating. I ate in the restaurant and the food was lovely, the waitress who served me was pretty exceptional with her customer service as well! The hotel is close to the airport around a 6-8 minute drive so was really handy for this. Though I am surprised it didn’t offer some form of an airport transfer facility at the hotel, like a paid shuttle bus. Luxembourg has to be the most expensive place in the world for taxis so be warned! I had a 7am flight and whilst I was staying so close, it cost me €45 to go 6 minutes at 5.30am (apparently night rates are even more expensive). I nearly had a heart attack when the driver told me!

Le nostre mani sono state abbassate dall'hotel preferito in Germania. Hanno immagazzinato il nostro bagaglio e l'hanno portata nella nostra stanza. (Dovevamo portare le scale nella nostra stanza, ma penso ci sia un ascensore se necessario). Ci hanno salutati con champagne e ci hanno dato un regalo di marmalade a casa. Ci hanno già portato il condizionamento d'aria che era bello, ma pensiamo che si sia fermato a lavorare a metà della notte (spostato su 20C), che era ok perché la sera era abbastanza fredda da aprire le finestre. Hanno anche frutta fresca e cioccolatini in camera nostra. Ci sono un cassaforte in camera. Le tole erano belle e fluffy. Forniscono sapone, shampoo e lozione corporea. La doccia era stupendo. Il bagno ha abbastanza spazio per mettere fuori i miei bagni e la mia maquillazione per essere pronta è stato più facile di altri hotel. L'hotel era a pochi passi da dove abbiamo parcheggiato la nostra auto, ma siamo tornati dopo l'iscrizione, quindi non abbiamo dovuto pagare per parcheggiare per una notte in un altro posto dove era più economico. Abbiamo dimenticato di mangiare nel ristorante freddo in cantina, ma il tempo era bello, così ci siamo divertiti a mangiare fuori. Ci sono stati molti posti di lavoro, hanno un corno di scarpe, un ombrello, bagni caldi e un giacca extra nella stanza. Se torno a Trier, restiamo ancora lì.

Molto buono
Un bel hotel posto al limite del centro pedonale di Treviri, da cui sono facilmente raggiungibili a piedi tutti i principali monumenti storici della città. Anche se abbiamo soggiornato nella dependance, la camera era moderna, pulita, adeguata a tre persone, anche se in un hotel a tre stelle mi sarei aspettato di trovare l’aria condizionata e il frigobar. Ottimo il grande parcheggio chiuso da una sbarra, dove poter lasciare comodamente l’auto, anche se al costo di 10 euro al giorno. Veramente ottima la colazione sia dolce che salata con una varietà di cibo mai vista. Lo staff è disponibile e professionale, instancabile in sala colazioni a non far mancare mai niente agli ospiti. Particolare la proposta che viene fatta all’arrivo: se si rinuncia alla pulizia giornaliera della camera viene offerta in regalo una bottiglia di vino.
